Could someone please tell me exactly what the heck this is! I mean, How do you do this? How do you make it? Are you really saying, "I need someone to take care of me and my children"? I was raised by a single mother of three chilren and she didn't have time to stay at home. She was always working to keep food on the table and a roof over our head! There were a lot of things we didn't have, but we never went without! I could only imagine what it would have been like if she would have stayed at home and never went to work and hoped that child support rolled in every month. Just asking, because I don't understand it. To all the hard working single mothers out there, My hat is off to you!  INCOMING!!!

Okay.. so I'm curious of the guys thoughts/opinions here about Stretch marks and Breast implants. I find it quite humorous really that men say how much they love a womans body.. yet, at times are the ones who bring up her getting breast implants. Now, don't you think that's a good enough hint that he's not satisfied with what she has (or doesn't have)? Do men seriously care that much about how big a females chest is? Then we have those out there that are "grossed" out by natural changes of ones body. You know, not only women get stretch marks.. and not only are they caused by them having children (as not all women get them during/after a pregnancy). Not only that, but young children (pre-teen/teenaged girls especially) are likely to get stretch marks just from growth spurts/puberty. They're also caused by weight gain/lose and the list goes on.. Guys.. what are your thoughts about these 2 topics (honestly)  I'll put in my two cents, here. I prefer to connect more on a mentality level than looks, but good looks are important too, at least to some degree. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want my significant other, if I had one, to age so naturally in every other way, but have perfect breasts at eighty, seems to me that be a little creepy!? Both of my LTRs' came into the relationship with children, and the stretch marks were definately not a dealbreaker, though I do remember myself at times thinking they were less than attractive. Still wasn't a deal breaker, and I couldn't say it to them, even when they'd ask that "loaded question". Would that be considered dishonest, or just avoiding bad feelings over something so trivial to the well being of the relationship? |

So how many people in here are still good friends with their ex... i know with me i have not had a lot of g/f's and was engaged once, but i am still pretty good friends with most, except for 1, who broke up with me by leaving a message on my answering machine saying she had been cheating on me for 2 months, and never wanted to see me again. One of my best friends is an ex-gf who is now married with 2 kids. We weren't good "relationship material" for each other --she was obsessed with the idea of "domesticating" me, which was never going to work -- but she's a truly great person, one who is always there for her friends and who I dearly love. Some people do think it's a little strange that we're so close now, so many years after we dated, but people with great qualities are going to have those qualities whether you're dating them or not. I used get the strange looks on that one for a while, too, never cared, at least 'til I had to explain it to my last girlfriend. Most didn't give it any more thought after explaining the whole deal with the kids. Besides that, we actually have things in common and our bands share stages once in a while. We have a lot fun together, we just can't BE together! |

I promise not to post any topics about POOP, Nice guys, random silliness, or weird sex with humans or animals(?)  I might reply, though. I'm hoping to only post topics that will invoke some thought, however rarely. If that means my post count doesn't go up quickly, so be it!! I also promise to post somewhat coherently, as I know that it's so much easier to read. There will be some times that I'll come right outta left field,.......don't worry, you'll be alright. I have an ex that is one of my best friends, her children were involved with me for the five years we were together. When we broke up, I'd have to say we were quite mature about it, and I've been in their lives since. I've known them for a least twelve years, and one's about to start college. Sometimes respect doesn't die, and we're much better friends now!!
