Topic: Stay at home moms....

Could someone please tell me exactly what the heck this is! I mean, How do you do this? How do you make it? Are you really saying, "I need someone to take care of me and my children"? I was raised by a single mother of three chilren and she didn't have time to stay at home. She was always working to keep food on the table and a roof over our head! There were a lot of things we didn't have, but we never went without! I could only imagine what it would have been like if she would have stayed at home and never went to work and hoped that child support rolled in every month. Just asking, because I don't understand it. To all the hard working single mothers out there, My hat is off to you!

if you are a stay at home mom you are usually married and your husband works while you take care of the kids and house..... simple enough

i am not a stay at home mom....lol i am a single mom with two boys and i do work my butt off but it's worth it

hmm... i for one work my tush off. I do not get child support for my kids. If I can afford something fantastic. If not, well then we really didn't need it to begin with. Unless ya count food. Some of the stay at home moms can afford to stay home with their kiddos. I know I did stay at home with my children until my last one started school. And I wouldn't do it any differently.

But i've seen this else where.

my parents were married for 21yrs and they divorced when i was 11yrs old... my mom was always there for me and my sisters, she not only worked in the home but outside as well.. it was like she was a single parent for my dad was hardly ever around.. as for me i was a single parent with my daughter and then i got married to my son dad, but it didnt feel like a marriage as he wasent providing like a husband should, and he wasent always there either, i took care of my kids with the help of my mom and family.. he didnt do much at all. my daughter is 25yrs old and has 3 kids. she pretty much was a single parent as there dad wasent there much either for them and my daughter was actually the main provder.. i actually give solute to the single fathers that have custody of there kids, as many fathers wouldnt want to provide for them, and i have ran across many that just gave me inspiration of there love and understanding for there kids

WEll.....one scenario is that maybe the woman is disabled from her previous job... maybe she hit the lottery or gambles or is a Ho bag

IDK how single moms who are not married or have a significant other can do it, I on the other hand go to school full time and have a part time job and I barely have time to spend with my son but when I can I definately do!! I would love to stay home but....I would lose everything and that is not fair to my son!!

The ones I'm talking about are on here single and looking for a man for a relationship! those are the ones to stay away from.. imo anyways.. and i also ask the same question.. what is child support? my ex has a warrant out for her for non-payment, and she is only required to pay $35 a month to help support her daughter
