Tribo - It's good to hear you have your health again. I haven't personally tried the pads so I can't say with certainty they didn't help you...I think it could just be when you buy into the claims that it works, you expect it to work. You used them expecting to feel better in the morning and because you saw the pads turn dark you thought it was them that made you healthier and feel better. I think the mind is the body's most powerful healer....

THAT WAS A SPOOF MY LADY - A CANARD A MISTRUTH, A SARCASM OF THE 3RD KIND, COMEDY RELIEF, A PUN INTENDED, laugh flowerforyou

Apparently my mind didn't want to see things that way. oops!! laugh

I think the fact that we use less than 10% of our brain should have us looking deeper for answers. The only thing standing in our way could simply be our egos telling us it's not possible.

http://www.snopes.com/science/stats/10percent.asp

10% of our brain is a myth . . . . Perfect example.

Nathan just take a representative sample from these forums. I think you will find that most people can relate to the new age energy . . . and no very little about what energy actually is or does.

I have never really taken the percentages seriously....I always saw it as more of a figure of speech, meaning that the brain is a complex organ and it's power and potential is beyond the knowledge of science.

If you don't like him, don't see his movies or read his books. I think most people that don't like him are just too brainwashed by Fox News to think for themselves.

Many of the approved drugs have been linked to serious problems too. The FDA's seal of approval doesn't make me feel better.

There's no need to list it as an interest because everyone is interested in it unless something is wrong with them.

I don't think it works for everyone. The same thing goes with facial hair.

I trust some doctors to diagnose conditions to the best of their ability, but I don't necessarily trust them to treat me. The main reason for me is I don't trust the pharmaceutical industry. Of course I don't trust all of these companies that put out products claiming to cure every condition either. Many people make their own diagnosis based on symptoms. Some of them decide from various ads they see that are pushing a product. The product says it's such a easy fix so they buy into it without even researching it. A lot of them think just because the product is being sold it has been proven to work. They also tend to believe it's safe. I saw a special about detox scams recently. Kinoki pads was the main example. Tests showed the pads gave the same results just from being wet as they did when attached to someones feet over night. They are still being sold and they will continue to be because there aren't any regulations against it. Not in the area of detox, but I think diet pills are probably the biggest scam of them all. I have met people that have tried 20 or more different kinds and had no success, yet they still buy the next one that comes out hoping results will be different.
Our bodies do generally detoxify like said. Even if it doesn't there are plenty chelators most of us cook with often. Garlic, coriander, & cilantro are some that have shown much success through several studies. For me if it doesn't come out of the ground I do my best to avoid it.

Elanher it is just my opinion and nobodys elses. As far as spreading negativity....I don't see any Christians suing, protesting, blocking traffic, rioting,or trampling on anyone elses rights or beliefs despite the fact we are under constant attack from every other religion and non religion out there.I think it's fair to say that Christians are probably the most peaceful and most civilized people out there when it comes to dealing with these problems and issues.

I am often puzzled when people say they are offended by a Christmas tree in a public place or Christmas lights on a government institution. Are you going to need counseling because you saw a Christmas tree?Do you think you should be compensated by the government because someone said "Merry Christmas" to you?Do we not have gay pride parades in cities all over America once a year that are paid for with tax payers dollars? If someone is offended should we stop all the gay pride parades.

My point is this...The majority of people in American love Christmas. We love the lights,we love the Christmas trees,we love watching children sing Christmas songs in our public schools.Christmas is a not so much a indivual holiday but one where the community as a whole(including government, city, and other public places)comes together to celebrate Jesus's birth. It has worked well for hundreds of years and I understand people get offended but it is a very small majority and I belive we live in a state where majority rules. It has now swung the other way where usually one person ruins it for the entire community because he/she is offended.Worse yet once they get rid of the Christmas decorations they seldom(if ever)return.

As far as you telling me I should "get a life".I have one,and I have one where I stand up for what I and tens of millions of other believe in....the right to celebrate Christmas any way we see fit including decorating the entire town with lights and Christmas trees. If you are offended I could care less because maybe you need to be offended!Nobody seems to care too much about offending the Christians.

As far as me and the bible is concerned....I hate to break the news to you but its not all flowers, little puppies, holding hands and singing "we are the world".The bible clearly does not like Christians being killed, taken advantage of,trampled over,or other wise disrespected. God has wiped out entire towns, and even flooded the entire earth killing everyone because he was upset with the way they were acting.Even Jesus was clear to not waste your time with people who will not listen to you.He also denied healing a womans daughter(but later did)because she was a gentile.Something for you to think over....

Ezechiel 25:17 The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Over 79% of Americans consider themselves Christians. That in itself tells me a whole bunch of them aren't the loving and peaceful people you claim them to be. Our country is just as consumed by hate and greed if not a lot more than other countries.
I know you can't possibly be telling me the bible is only against Christians being killed, taken advantage of, trampled over, or other wise disrespected? From what I understand your bible says love thy neighbor as thyself. It doesn't say love them only if they believe as you do. That means you shouldn't treat anyone in that fashion regardless of race, sex, age, religion, non religion, national origin, political affiliation, marital status, etc. Just because a person is Atheist doesn't mean they are bad, immoral, and evil. I don't believe in a supreme being and I have more morals than a lot of my Christian friends do. I also don't judge others for what they believe and I don't try to make everyone see everything my way. In my home we learn of all religions and philosophies. My children can decide for themselves what they believe.
As far people being anti Christmas...There are always going to be a few out there that want to ruin things for others. Some are against it because their religion doesn't celebrate it and they are so closed minded if it isn't part of their practices they think it shouldn't be there. Most just want attention though. Really...I haven't noticed any changes in anything regarding Christmas, besides Target last year. That only lasted for 2 weeks anyway. Public schools still celebrate the same, there are still lights and trees across cities everywhere. Santa Claus is still at the mall. People still visit with their friends and family. It appears the same to me. Maybe you have been listening to the media make a bigger deal out of it than it really is because I haven't noticed anything different. Anyway, why care what others are doing or not doing? Do what you want.

I would give a Atheist a kick in the balls for ruining such a special holiday. They don't even print "Christmas" on the school calanders anymore as they don't want to offend anyone. They also dont want any more lights or Christmas trees as they say this is a Christian holiday. It is also forbiden to say "Merry Christmas" to anyone. Thanks for what you have done. Now we can all sit around depressed and miserable.

Are you sure you aren't the one that ruins it by filling the air with negativity? It amazes me how people like you act the complete opposite of what your religious teachings encourage. Get a life and stop blaming others for your own unhappiness.

I was raised to believe Christmas is mostly a time of hope for peace, harmony and friendship. Anyone can celebrate it. And in case you didn't know December 25th hasn't always been a Christian holiday. It was originally a pagan holiday that was celebrated centuries before Jesus was even born. The holy bible doesn't even mention the date of Jesus' birth. December 25th is the birthday of the Unconquerable Sun, the Sun God, in Roman history though. The Roman Catholic Church stole the holiday in the 4th century to try and force pagans to change their religion.

Everybody has a right the their opinion, but there is a difference between stating an opinion and "hate speech". As example, the first speaker could have said that he believed that the conspiracy theorists were completely off base for thinking that our government would have involvement in the events of 911 and site valid reasons why. Rather, he was insulting and threatening to his fellow Americans who most likely believe it their civic duty to question. Basically, IMO, hate speech is the same as bullying.

glasses

The only reason anyone pays attention to this douche bag is because he sounds so radical. If he weren't spewing bs, no one would even remember him.

The man who said it was the Conservative Republican son of the most beloved Conservative Republican President in history. He is not considered a "radical douche bag". He is a respected member of the Conservative Movement. Still think no ones going to remember him? slaphead

glasses

I know who he is. He may not be considered a radical douche bag, but in my opinion he is along with the ones who respect him.
