Working at a modern campground for the last 6 years I have seen it all.The basic "modern camper" is pretty pathetic.Can't do a d#*^ thing without their latest crap from walmart and if it rains they bail out of their tent and into their vehicle.My whole camp setup is recreated circa 1770.My tent is 10 year old white canvas that doesn't leak,I can build a fire right under my awning,and I usually take my tools with me and forge up some item that somebody sees me using that works way better than the latest overpriced chinese crap. Just because my setup is "primitive" does not mean its uncomfortable, matter of fact just the opposite! You modern campers have it "primitive"! And BTW my camp setup includes a hot shower and a kitchen!
