did anyone here any of this stuff about 2012, my friend was telling me about all these things about the world ending in 2012, and then i just read an article about how in 2012 we could very well have a major solar storm that could wipe out alot of our energy sources on earth for 3 months to a year, so if anyone could help shead the light for me, if anyone knows any of these stories please tell, im curious, and kinda scared.

There is an end of the world story every year, I wouldn't put too much stock into it until they start predicting the local weather right!

The only end of the world story I know of is when the Sun uses up all of it's fuel supply and burns out in 4-5 billion years. That is about the same time I will get my credit card paid off!

There is so much crap out there about 2012 it will set your head spinning. But don't be scared.

The sun will reach the galactic equator of the milky way at that date which I believe marks the end of the age of pisces and the beginning of the new age.

A lot of things can happen, but I think we will survive the trip to the other side of the galaxy and be better for it.

So far so good. We have survived many other predictions of the end of the world.

Just remember, you could go to sleep tonight and not wake up, and that is your world at an end...

i'm not into astrology/predictions and so forth...however; someone close to me had a vision a long time ago about planets in our solar system aligning and then exploding one right after the other sequentially...didn't give much thought to it until this 2012 dooms day stuff..

just a note astrology and astronomy are two different things.....each has their own purpose one more scientific.. the other plays with ideas people find hard to grasp..open your mind a look into more that what popular culture shows..I'm sure you will find a way to make connections.. lack of understanding allows too many to debunk things that may be pertinent, of course they will never know will they?

The Mayan calander shows the end of the 4th age of man, and the beginning of the 5th age is on December 21st 2012. Not the end of the world, just the end of an era.

Mythology will have you believe that the "missing link" in evolution is actually an alien visit. There is evidence that ancient cultures had knowledge of the earth revolving around the sun and there being 12 planets. They obviously considered pluto a planet at the time. Intriguingly enough they also gave physical descriptions of Uranus and Neptune. Most of this was knowledge not proven until the mid 1900's if i remember correctly. The 11th planet collided with earth about 3 billion years ago, giving us our moon. Theoretically this event increased the heat in our core, keeping it from solidifying like mars, and allowing an magnetic field to form which shelters us from the radiation, and other hazards of outer space.

References to this i believe are in the bible, and many other religious texts according to mythologists. Interestingly this theory of how the earth got a moon so large in reletivity to its size wasn't adopted until recently.

Anyway, the 12th planet, planet X, or Nibiru is on a very large, irregular orbit. Supposedly it crosses on the far side of Mars. This is where the Nephillim came from. They were said to be like us but giants. Historians believe 10 or so feet tall, but there are myths that place there height up to 30 feet. Some they are a reptilian. There are many religious references to this. They were said to create humans through a genetic experiment which created the ancient Sumerian society.

Ok, enough of this theoretical history... Basically this planet is said to cross behind mars every 3,600 years. The day we meet with our interstellar ancestors is said to be december 21, 2012.

There are also astronomers who say that the month of december 2012 will mark the first time in human history that our solar system drops below our galaxy's equator. This is theorized to cause an abundance of solar flares and natural shifts in our planet (and others).

Other theories are more political. They involve revolutions, global governments, inprisonment of the people, etc.

That's about all i heard.

Some one asked me the other day how so many people that voted for Bush could have gotten it so wrong. So can so many prophets have gotten it wrong, looks that way doesn't it. And who's to say these people are 'Prophets'?
