Though I was mildly aware of some of this, I never thought it could possibly come true in America, a place where people thought for themselves. Or do they? I had to go right to the religious rights web pages to find out it's all true and the agenda of the Christian right is far scarier than I would have ever believed just a few short years ago.

While the Christian right warns America to wake up, I rarely hear anyone tell us to wake up to the Christian Rights real agenda, and how far they have come in their goals. The Right has managed quite well to keep their goals from reaching most people that are not easily indoctrinated, or are just not paying attention.

We have paid dearly for our ignorance and apathy down through history and we will again.

I dearly despise politics and most times fanatical religions, and have spent years avoiding both. But this really does concern me and should any reasonable person.........

I would have pasted the text but I am sure one post would have gone over the character limit.

I would say this is for any human being that has not been completely brainwashed by the Religious Right...

Oh by the way there are other very interesting articles on that same page in the left column, having to do with 'The Rise of the Religious Right in the Republican Party', that are worth the read. And of course with out saying, one should check out the christian right websites to verify some of what is said. Should be better than a scifi movie..

I've never heard of it! All I hear about is how all these atheist hate mongers are all over the news. Spreading THEIR poison.

Ya ever notice how the breakdown of religion and morals have destroyed this country? I'm not a Bible thumper by no means; but do ya see it?

It's plain enough to see alright... Problem is, too many judge All Christians by Paul Weyrich's and Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority views.frustrated

I just really wish that in the last 8 years, the Christians would
have started this country over. What happened? Why didn't
that happen? I've paid every price for this ignorant country, and hard-pressed to be smart, to be intelligent, all folly! I wanna know why David Jeremiah didn't start our great country over...why?

It seems you have not read the article or choose not to?

What you said is exactly what the Right wants you to believe, makes is much easier to get the following it's looking for. One doesn't need to be a thumper to be indoctrinated by the right. They just need your vote and your belief that the world is broken down morally, don't need to educate yourself, that would be trouble some for the Right.. they just need bodies willing to vote their way.

It seems it's working, focus on those you hear and assume are hatemongers and morally corrupt and the Right has you where they need you. They don't need you to think or research, just vote when the time comes. Guess it really does work. That's what is frightening.
