Trump has a bad habit of projecting his criminality onto everyone else. To him, the the judge and every one of his political rivals who are corrupt or criminal, yet the only one with evidence against him is Trump. "Witch hunt" doesn't mean what he seems to think it does. When a grand jury returns an indictment, it's not about who he is, but what he's done. And the charges Trump's sweating now are only a fraction of the crimes he's committed. These are just the easy-to-prove charges. 34 charges took just a few weeks to try and the jury only 10 hours to deliberate.

The witch hunt is what Republicans did to Joe Biden. They scoured Biden's entire family history and Hunter's laptop for ANYTHING on Joe and years later they've got nothing to show for it. But I have no doubt that if Trump gets back into office, he'll order his DOJ to make up charges for Biden, Clinton, Obama and then everyone involved in the trial. It's just like that pathetic little man to do it.

Why should a fair and unbiased legal system let a criminal politician commit dozens of crimes without consequences? Michael Cohen went to prison for his part in the same crimes. It's Trump's turn to face consequences.

The judge is clearly not biased. He's been practically bending over backwards to keep Trump out of jail, despite TEN violations of the gag order. Any other defendant than Trump would've been jailed for contempt of court at that point.

Even if Judge Merchan sentences Trump to serious jail time in July--like several months in prison, there might be an argument that he's liberal, but more likely it's just be the horrible way Trump behaved in court, taunting the judge and witnesses. I'm hoping Trump gets some jail time, but not counting on it.

To be fair, Alvin Bragg only took it to court because it was easy to prove. They had the receipts.

And sadly, Trump's got MAGA judges delaying the other cases until after November.

Same implication that, for unstated reasons, the government is coming for us, like they are for Trump--who's obviously committed dozens of crimes. But the government will charge us for crimes we didn't do. Eric Trump even said the other day that they'll win because they're white.

I agree that Trump was an ineffective president and his worst threats never came true, but he still managed to commit tons of crimes, especially around the time he was supposed to turn over power peacefully. While he never managed to change the laws that would allow him to jail political opponents without evidence or silence the media coverage he disliked, he also had people in his cabinet who put the country and our Constitution over Trump. Trump's made it clear he won't do that again. He's spent the last few years finding people who will be loyal to Trump above all else, and he'll make sure to jail his perceived foes during his term as dictator, and "day one" will not be limited to just one day.

Throughout all Trump's legal issues, he's been posting on social media that "If this can happen to me, it can happen to you." What he means is "If this happens to me, it'll happen to everyone who's responsible for this happening to me." He's never admitted to breaking laws that we can all see he's broken. He says he's allowed by law to commit the crimes he's committed. And despite literal piles of evidence, he demands that he cannot be criminally liable for anything he's done since becoming president, like he's a king or a pope. The guy's a nutcase, and should be nowhere near public office.

It's important to have conservatives participating in our government, but it's against all our interests to elect criminals like Trump to office. With his nearly 100 felony charges and history of financial difficulties, he's not even fit for a security clearance, and yet half the country wants to put him in office where he can give or sell more nuclear secrets to Russia, and then pardon himself out of any accountability. That's nuts!

No. Trump speeches are rambling and nonsensical. Of course he'll promise that everything will turn around when he's in office, just like he promised a better health care plan or a "incredible" infrastructure bill "in two weeks." He gripes that we're a nation in decline (ignoring the soaring stock market and super-low unemployment) and can't offer any hints on what he'd do to solve problems. The guy's just a big fat liar.

But sure, Biden's the divisive one, only helping his voters, because Republicans never get the price caps on insulin or reduced junk fees from banks and airlines. Maybe Republicans don't bank or fly to travel. Do they exclusively drive big pickup trucks with Trump flags, needing extra low gas prices to afford all that AND the truck nutz?

Biden wasn't telling those graduates that they had to work ten times harder. His actual line was "What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?"

No matter how bad the guy was, there's no harm in showing some respect for a dead Iranian president. The US Navy even gave Osama Bin Laden a respectful burial at sea.

And when Trump dies, he'll undoubtedly get the customary honors of an ex-president. They won't bury him on a golf course--unless he makes that arrangement with his family.

"Drill baby drill" won't make America independent of the oil market; that's not how it works. Oil is sold on an international market, so no matter how much the US drills and sells, the price of oil is still whatever the market will bear, and the US oil companies will never give up their rights to sell to the highest bidders.

If you want energy independence, (and we already have it on most levels) we'll have to expand the use of wind, solar, hydro, nuclear and everything else where appropriate.

Don't know how you missed it. Trump's crimes were real, and his defense is stupid. His lawyers in NYC just rested their case after their star witness reversed himself and then got aggressive with the judge. The defense's witness! The prosecution painstakingly laid out all the ways Trump broke the law in those 34 counts and all Trump could do was cry about it each afternoon and then refuse to testify after promising he would. That's not corruption from the D.A.

Also, Biden isn't doing anything nefarious to the country. Upholding law and order, respecting public servants and law enforcement, supporting allies and not supporting Russia's land grab are all good things. Go ahead and embrace Trump if you like, but repeating his lies here doesn't make you look smart.

With any luck, Trump will see at least a little jail time for his criminality, and if justice is served, he'll spend the rest of his life in jail after paying $billions in damages.

It's a good profile. The photo is well-lighted and you did a pretty good job of describing yourself, but you didn't describe "the right man." If you know what kind of man you want, you could share that.

A better photo would be one that clearly shows your face and eyes. Your photo has good lighting and shows your body shape, which is also good, but maybe upload another photo more of your head and shoulders for people viewing on the web site, and see your face in the tiny thumbnail photos. Maybe take a selfie with the camera around eye level where you don't look so bored.

The photos look a bit dark & depressing, with the 2nd & 3rd pics giving psychotic vibes. I guess it's a style thing or an artistic choice that I missed, but for a dating site profile, you could do better with brighter, sharper images where you look at least a little cheerful and more approachable. Although, it might work for those women looking for a guy to cheer up.

Maybe you missed it, but Comey's report didn't say 110 emails had classification markings. Only that 110 emails were found to have classified information. Probably mentioned sensitive information. Also, the US government has a completely separate system for sending classified information, not even connected to the Internet, so it's weird that any emails would have a classification mark, unless someone decided to type "SECRET" or whatever into the email, which isn't how document classification works. Maybe that's another reasons why Comey didn't recommend charges.
