I once passed out in church because too many of my brain cells died while listening to a ridiculous sermon based on gross misinterpretation of scripture.

Does that count?

No it doesn't.......and if you misinterpreted the scripture you should of asked someone to explain it...

flowerforyou

I fear you may have misconstrued my comment...I said "...sermon based on gross misinterpretation of scripture.". I do not believe that it was I, that required additional tutelage, but rather the deliverer.

I Will
( J. Lennon, P. McCartney )

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to I will

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart

And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
And you know I will..
I will
(Ooo, la)

azrae1l and dae11x,

Since you asked so nicely, I'll tell you.

StallOWNED and Rick Roll are basically the same game. The point of the game is to trick someone into either looking at a picture of Slyvester Stallone or watching a Rick Astley video. It's a challenge to come up with new and sneaky ways to trick someone into seeing the picture or video. In the end, those who play this game learn to think more like the enemy (hackers) and develop skills that will help them in counter-intrusion tactics.

We do the same thing with "Hoffing". Yep, David Hasselhoff, and the more beef-cakey the pic, the better.

Yep, prayer & scripture...That's right...Without those things, disparate dogma and doctrine might have fragmented Christianity into, like, over 10,000 different denominations, while undergoing major schisms, crusades, and heretical purges. Whew! Dodged the bullet on that one!

Have long hair and a beard?

I know you probably didn't want a real answer, but.....

Tarzan inherited, from his deceased parents, a legacy of books, personal effects (including hygiene items), family portraits, weapons (hunting knife & percussion pistol), etc., etc..
He taught himself to read using this small cache of civilization, as well as to conform his general appearance to the portrait of his father using a straight razor. Later on, after losing the razor somehow (slips my mind at the moment), I believe he used the hunting knife to trim his hair, as well as to shave. Although (according to the books) he never trimmed his hair as short as was portrayed in the early movies.

This has happened a lot in the relationships I have had.
If there is something i respect and value from people is their time. I always expect the same back. So when I had a girlfriend (too damn long ago), and we were on the phone I expected to have her attention in the same way I gave her mine (100%).
When I called my girlfriend (I tried to be absolutely free. I had everything done, so my full attention was for her.
However, it pissed me off when she was watching TV or in the computer, or somebody from her family interrupts every 5 minutes. I personally think it's so rude and disrespectful.
So if the person is really busy, well the polite thing to do is to tell me look can u call me in 30 minutes. I don't see any problem with that, but keeping me on the line when the last thing she is doing is talking to me is just annoying.

So tell me am I a freak or not?

Not a freak. It's a mutual respect/common courtesy issue.
I feel the same way.

I'm going to be the sole dissenting opinion here, so far.

With no kids, and no hope of reconciliation, I would not be able to get to the courthouse fast enough. Tabula rasa.

Not up on my Babylonian creation myths and all that. Is that the one with Gilgamesh, Marduk et al.?

Yes and no, that's the Epic of Gilgamesh. The Enuma elish is the creation epic. It is regarded by many theologians as the probable source for Genesis. Marduk's name as Supreme was added to the creation epic "after the fact" due to his rise in power. It was originally a different name, but either it is unknown, or it slips my mind.
