Isn't the point of posting a threat to get a response from people? So if people are posting "threats about subjects that people already know peeps will post on..." I think that's a good thing! Maybe I'm just not understanding why you seem so frustrated. But I'm sure everyone's purpose of posting a thread is to get responses, so if they pick a topic that they know people will respond to then that's good; unless it's the subjects that have you frustrated. Like if someone kept posting a topic about killing them self or if I kept posting a thread about being fat. Then I can see why you'd be annoyed.

Agree 100%!! I HATE seafood and fish; I have always loved sharks and would love to own a nice little one one day, but my dad bought some shark meat and had me try it. I was hooked!!! It is kinda hard to find in my area; only a couple places carry it; well there is a seafood place that carries it, but I refuse to step foot in there; I would throw up!!

Just try to remember that not everyone will always find you attractive (not sure why, but that's the case). I have had about 3 guys on here that I have not found attractive and told them in a very nice way I wouldn't be more than a friend to them and got very nasty, immature responses.

I had bronchitis back in February of last year, took all the medicine and since I'm an asthmatic I know what it's like to not be able to breathe; but in April, I was still have severe signs of bronchitis; so I went back. They were like, well this and that and the next thing, it must be ur asthma. Anyway, I went home, unplugged the humidifier and was fine after that.

I think you are right in going to the doctor and seeing a specialist. I know what it's like to be on medicaid and being hard to find a doctor.

I try to avoid lying as best I can; but I still have those days I just feel like sleeping in (LOL); As far as asking questions or answering questions from friends-If my friend's ass looks as big as the Hindenburg in her tight, spandex shirt, and she asks does this shirt make me fat, I would reply yes, and try to be tactful. I usually don't ask questions like that; I know spandex makes me look fat!

But I believe people are going to lie; I think it is wrong to call off work by saying so and so in your family died when they really didn't. I don't see the harm in calling into work (on a rare occasion) and saying your sick.

I know in PA if a father does not contact the child within the first 6 months of his/her life and was given the opportunity, you can bar him from seeing the child.

There are other options; the state will get the money it's owed one way or another; bottom line. I also know in PA if you make under a certain amount (depending on household, I know someone that had family of 3 and making a little over $20,000 a year) you can look into a pro bono lawyer. It seems like a lot of trouble; but your argument is flawed. In PA, a father doesn't have to pay child support (even if ordered) and still has the right to see his child.

Either way; the dad has the option of walking back into you and your child's life. Although if there is court ordered support and he if flaky on paying it the judge MAY look down upon it; it depends on the period of time involved.

So if this guy poses as much of a threat as you say, either way you are better off looking into a lawyer.

As someone state before, your ex owes the state money and they can't get their money unless he pays his obligation. They are probably giving you such a hard time since maybe it was during the period of time you lived in that state? And if it's not paid, then the debt falls onto the state or the taxpayers and that's not fair.

I would call your current state's office and ask to speak to someone there. If that's not possible, I know it's not here; call your old state and ask to speak with a supervisor. Or I know in PA we have what's called a HelpLine, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

I do understand how you feel; but honestly do not see the big deal. I don't know how old your son is, but you are obviously stressed over this and most kids, no matter what age pick up on this. I think it would be better overall to just do it. So what if you don't think you're gonna see a dime? The state doesn't care; as long as you file.

In PA the only time they make you file for child support is when you are receiving cash assistance. As far as medical; I'm not sure, I know if you have shared custody it doesn't apply and if you are married but separated they don't pursue it either with the medical.

I had a big assignment, did it and saved it and then 2 days before it was due, my laptop totally crashed and couldn't recovery anything from backups!!

I now save everything on my keydrive thingy!!

First off, Hello! Welcome to JSH!!

Well I have only been on 1 other site, and it seems to me the people on the forums are a lot more caring here. I also like the mutual match feature, I think it takes some of the apprehension away from emailing someone w/o knowing if they will like you or not. I have still emailed other that were not a mutual match, thinking maybe they just didn't use that feature (how can anyone resist me..lol joking!) But they didn't email me back, but no biggie, I keep on trucking.

But yea, the mutual match, the forums and overall ease of navigation thru the site. I really hate the IM system they use. I'll be typing and then the cursor will go away cuz the other person entered something.
