no no no...we had shark on the bbq for 4th of july...they have skin...not like creepy scaly fish...they have beautiful smooth skin...too human like for eating!!!!!!!! it was horrible....i kept throwing the massive hunks of flesh in the pool but they just floated...sounds ridiculous but it's an absolutely true story

Shark is DELICIOUS ! If you've ever had it and it wasn't good it wasn't cooked correctly . My brother catches shark all the time when we go down to the beach . You should clean the shark and remove the skin . It's great on the grill cooked w/Dale's Steak Seasoning just like a steak . The meat is white and firm .... not oily or fishy tasting .

They rarely sell shark where I work, I'm going to have to try it when I see it again.

I've had shark. It was good. I personally prefer less endangered things to eat although not all sharks are. Edit: There is a town somewhere that eats Greenland sharks during a special feast of some sort and they rot the flesh first before serving. An acquired taste that one is.

You could very well be right but I thought it was shark oil. Maybe it is obtained from the tissue.

I HATE seafood and fish; I have always loved sharks and would love to own a nice little one one day, but my dad bought some shark meat and had me try it. I was hooked!!! It is kinda hard to find in my area; only a couple places carry it; well there is a seafood place that carries it, but I refuse to step foot in there; I would throw up!!
