Why is it so hard to find a God fearing, humble Man?

He's just there waiting to hold your hands. Just pray the Lord will lead you to him.

I was told in another thread that I was judgmental for saying that I have an age preference when it comes to dating. laugh

No not judgmental; its a preference. Me, I could care less if someone thinks I am judgemental but I also am not a stupid woman. A man that is say 20 or 30 years younger than me is not interested in me. He would use me and then dump me for someone his age. I have heard countless stories of people men and women going through this. Some just have a broken heart; others have lost most of their life savings. Age does matter and I will not delude myself into thinking a man younger than me wants to be with me for who I am.

I have dated older women and none has come up with stories of being used and dumped. It all depends on the maturity of the younger person in question.

It is now a common practise for young men to get their fiancee pregnant before marriage. They always want to make sure the girl is fertile so as not to have heartaches after marriage. Nobody enjoys a divorce really.

"GET" their fiance's pregnant?
I haven't seen where that is a new trend.
Who are "THEY"?

Nonetheless,
if we are "Christians" posting in this forum, why would we advertise the option.

"Let us not therefore judge one another any more:
but judge this rather,
that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall
in his brother's way.

oh no, i would never advocate for such an idea. I just brought it up for open discussion because that's what has become the norm where i live. Is there a way around the issue?

Yeah, the best and solid relationships always starts as friends. I wouldnt date someone i cant be friends with. Your partner ought to be your best friend.

A friend once said. If any lady takes her bathe, does her makeup and goes out, and no guy makes advances towards her, then she should know there's something wrong with her. B-)

This is a wonderful topic MSH. Its really unfortunate to have lots of young unwed teens with kids. My heart really bleds because it now seems like a norm amongst this present generation. Any penis can make a child but it takes a real man to be a father.

Its funny but i've always dated older women and nothing evil has come out of it. I tend to find them more mature and understanding than the younger folks. Women are like fine wine, the seem to taste better as they age. B-)

I don't reply to dumb messages. Someone who emails me a "Hi, how are you?" ... yea.. just seems dumb to me. More effort is needed. Just seems useless to write back "good and you". I am obviously ok..if I am online. frustrated

hey, that could just be a way to start up a conversation. You dont just barge into someone's privacy without inquiring if she's ok? Its just courtesy dear.

Its discouraging when you see someone nice and send then a message. No reply or even an acknowledgement.. Too bad ladies.
