Some of us have pictures of who we truly are. If someone plays games, I'd suggest you don't have any further association with them.

laugh laugh I like it! My dad had worked at Kellogg's for 47 years before he retired, years ago, so we saw a lot of cereal.

You can never have too many people praying!! The more who pray, the better. And that's not to say 1 prayer won't work, either. :)

Women are simply better at more things than many men are willing to admit. laugh laugh

Age makes a difference. And, as to someone who doesn't have kids, it's harder for them to relate to someone who does. I've been through this personally. No offense, but sometimes the person who has never married, nor has kids, has no clue how to share. This has been something that I learned. As a mother of two, my kids aren't "baggage" either. That's another thing that irks me.

Holy crap, that's a very hard question to answer. Even though many groups try not to show favoritism, if I was your parents, I'd politely discuss the fact that they can't have anyone in the group that would bring problems upon their family. That's the best way I know how to put it.

Me too!! With the fact my daughter got a concussion this week and I'm trying to enroll in college, I'm just beyond thoughts.

Sometimes I wonder if dating sites only have people from certain areas on them. It's so weird.

Did you ask him for the definition of "escort agent"? I certainly would have because that sounds more like a pimp to me. You might be amazed at the terms people like pimps try to come up with to sound like they work a legitimate job.

I had a man from Ohio (the same state I live in), try to pull that on me. It's some sort of scam, as far as I'm concerned. The person probably has a criminal history, therefore they try desparate acts to try and see if they can catch a sucker. It won't be me!

That's great!! Even though I'm not a major cook, nor ever will be, all that information is very helpful for those who are.

Sumthingdifferent:

What about those of us who are willing to work? It's not about the greed of wanting to climb a corporate ladder, it's about wanting to support my family. Corporations suck.

You have an excellent point. Perhaps the people that you first chat with aren't ones that are willing to wait until you get home to date. I'm not saying that's right, because it's unfair to you for them not to get to know you, it's just a thought about what they may be thinking. Maybe you could suggest that you're simply looking for a friend's first type of relationship, and see where it goes from there? Just because you're in the military doesn't mean you're not coming home and it's their mistake to assume so.

Even though I have a strong background in clerical work, it seems as if I'm overlooked due to being overqualified or under qualified. Why can't employers use their brains and realize that people in their 40's aren't dead and could be retrainable if given a chance? Anyone else facing this hard challenge?
