Okay was debating to post this, especially since I already posted on the Family Member of cancer victim post. However just felt I needed to ask for prayers for my Dad who is going into surgery tomorrow to have fluid removed from around his heart and lungs. He has/had cancer of the esophagus, we found out in June and its been a long year...most of all, of course, for him. He's done with chemo and radiation, but the surgery to remove the tumor and the radiation has created some complications that we're trying to fix with this surgery. Hopefully everything will work out and he can concentrate on healing and feeling better...both physically and emotionally.

Prayers to anyone in similar situations and just to all because its Christmas and we could all use prayers.

franshade, and yes we're actually a laughter is the best medicine kind of family, we're too large to be anything but, however my dad as felt glum because of his extended time of not feeling well...I'm hoping that this will eventually lead to him bringing back the smiles and his bad jokes

Much thanks for the support everyone, its helped coming on here and seeing your prayers. I'll keep you guys up to date.

Its so sad to see the prayers needed for everyone going on right now, especially during the holidays. But prayers to all. I'm still waiting to hear from my mom on how my dad's surgery went (I'm not quite sure when it was/is ). Going to work, but I'll let you know how it went...
