Gezz, i don't think nothing could hurt more then having talked to someone on here for weeks and weeks then planing that special meeting just to have a stranger show up in place of that person that you've opened your heart and soul to for so long.. People, can't ya update your photos or atleast correct your age on your profile. Maybe write something like "photo of my youth"..

I often wonder about the pics people post. the ones with cartoons and stuff makes me wonder if they look like Fauzzy Moto from the Hunchback of Norter dame.

i don't think i look quite that bad... i just don't always like to see me starin back at me.

My photos are one years old. Is that considered outdated?

That happened to me some 5 years ago. I met someone on match.com and spoke to them over a month. They sounded very interesting and we finally decided to meet in person. He profile depicted her as a 29 year old woman, 5' 7" Long blond hair, blue eyes and about 164lb, single, never married.

Well, when I got to her door that night, what answered almost made me hit the floor and die. This is what I saw. 5'7", long blond hair, blue eyes, weighed a little over 220+... Well, I rang the door bell and she expected what she saw so, I didn't leave so to say. We talked, and stuff for like 30 minutes and someone called so, I made like it was work calling and I left. The rest of what I found out about her was that she had 3 kids, 1 of which was home, she recently went thru a divorce and that Picture she had up was BEFORE she had kids.

NEEDLESS TO SAY: UPDATE your PICTUES AND PROFILE LADIES... if your gonna lie about who you are, then your never gonna find that true someone in your life. Might as well go to Fling.com or adult friend finder. If you or overweight, at least say so and show the real pictures. There are men out there that like that so, there is nothing to be shy about. If your profile is stated wrong, put up some truths... There are a lot of people out there who have the same if not more problems than you, 70% OF PEOPLE OUT HERE HAVE SOME SORT OF PROBLEM WITH THEIR AREA THEY LIVE OR WITH THEIR LIFE THAT ISN'T PERFECT.Why do you think most of us are out here?!?!

I met the most wonderful person i had ever known online, for over 2 years we talked, phoned, shared our deepest darkest secrets with one another, She and i had become lovers in our hearts and souls having never seen anything other then photos of one another, It was my talks of moving her here from LA that brought my Sister into the whole ordeal. She started saying small things to my Sister that would catch me off guard but then my Sister noticed the edges of her photos where stamped with something besides a date.
After much debate i flew to LA, rented a car, called her and drove to her home just to have her tell me that the photos where of her Daughter back in College 5 years prier, "but" she explained, everyone says she lookes like her..

Anger / Mad / Hurt / Lost / Used / Dishonored .. What words best fit the feelings?

That is so sad Eddie...we are all here on a dating site...end result for most I would think is to end up meeting someone in person. What do people think they will gain out of being deceitful with their words or photos...LOOSERS = PLAYERS!!!

Shuttelbug; Pitty me not hun. I am the fool that allowed someone to come so close to my heart hun, I set myself up, I took the fall. The feelings of true love i felt for her, Well' i can say i felt its awsome power once again, But' i can also say now i sheild myself from others because of it.
