What type do you attract?

I tend to attract pervs or insecure guys. Most of them start out nice but they quickly change. I prefer the pervs over insecurity though. It's hard to talk to someone who only responds with "ok" or "I don't know" or the like. Oh, I also attract Houdini. Lots of guys I have dated just disappeared. Then I find them months later to find out they have moved on. Is it really that hard to say, "I'm sorry but I don't think this is working out."?????

Social work is all about pushing papers. No offense to anyone here who may be a social worker. They may go in with good intentions and they may personally have good intentions, but the system itself is very broken. This is true. And unfortunately, the social worker here doesn't really know what she is doing. And she thinks I don't know how things work. She just started looking for apartments and informed me that I couldn't afford any of them. I was like, "duh!" If you want anything done with her, you have to tell her step by step what to do. Kristi, I will for sure let you know.

Working on it. I may not actually be out by November but at least it's a work in progress now. Which is more than I had two months ago, when I said I wanted to start applying for all this stuff. I seriously despise the social worker here. It is not in their best interest for me to leave, because they will be losing money. So of course they are dragging their feet. But I am staying on everybody involved.

There are certain things I believe people should know about me personally before considering dating me. I am always up front about my medical issues and my current living situation. I want people to know what they are getting into and see if they can handle it.
Other things I like to know about other people: Any medical/mental issues that I should be aware of. Any criminal history, i.e. are they still in debt to society....the rest can come up in natural conversation. |

My Grandmother...

Well her long battle is over. Over the last few months she had gotten much worse. Towards the end she had a feeding tube, a catheter and was going into kidney failure. She had a stroke this past Friday then passed Saturday evening. We are making her funeral arrangements now. I am sad to lose her, but glad she is no longer suffering.

You can be honest and not cruel about it. There is a way to approach any situation. One should always think before just blurting out stuff.

People DO make snappy judgements based on looks. But it's not necessarily being shallow. There has to be some level of attraction. I have the pic I have now because I have been on here for years and I am not really looking for anything other than friends anymore. I do have real pics though. But it is really up to you whether or not to use your real self or not. Don't change based on others opinions.
