Hopefully, I will find out by then if I get housing assistance or not. And I can finally get out of this rotten place I am currently stuck in. *fingers crossed*shades

Working on it. I may not actually be out by November but at least it's a work in progress now. Which is more than I had two months ago, when I said I wanted to start applying for all this stuff. I seriously despise the social worker here. It is not in their best interest for me to leave, because they will be losing money. So of course they are dragging their feet. But I am staying on everybody involved.

Social work is all about pushing papers. No offense to anyone here who may be a social worker. They may go in with good intentions and they may personally have good intentions, but the system itself is very broken.

This is true. And unfortunately, the social worker here doesn't really know what she is doing. And she thinks I don't know how things work. She just started looking for apartments and informed me that I couldn't afford any of them. I was like, "duh!" If you want anything done with her, you have to tell her step by step what to do.

Kristi, I will for sure let you know.
