Needs prayers. She is 78. Last week, she for some reason stayed up all night one night and the next day sitting in her recliner.Didn't get up for ANY reason. Well, finally my mom and aunts forced her to see the doctor. They then found out she was not able to get up on her own. So they finally got her up and into the doctor and he ran some tests. Today he calls back and says to get her to the hospital where they are going to admit her. Well it turned out he forgot to submit the order so they are rescheduling for Monday. But they are trying to get her home health and into a rehab facility and all that. She is fighting it all the way but she really needs it. I just pray that she sticks around a little longer. At least long enough for me to get to see her one more time.

Other than being diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 70, she is healthy. She is just getting up in years.

Update: She went in for an mri the other day, of which they are waiting for the results. She has progressed to being almost totally dependent upon my family to help her get around. Still waiting for her to get into some physical therapy...

Two years ago,,MY Mother went through something much this same,,I really thought she was going to be leaving this life,,and then,,she turned around,,and came back,,fully...and she is now 87 and doing GREAT,,a walker,,but she can still use it,,,I will Pray for your Grandmother to turn her health around,,,sending love and God your way...

Update: I just found out she recently turned 79. She is now in a rehab place for physical therapy. Supposed to be only for 5 days but last I heard it has been a week. My brother is fixing up her house so she can get around if she does end up using a wheelchair...which she is fighting all the way. She kinda freaked him out because she told him she was moving to Vegas and selling the house. She was kidding of course, but with her recent health issues, my brother thought she was losing her marbles on top of it...
