Racism is still with us. But it is up to us to prepare our children for what they have to meet, and, hopefully, we shall overcome. Rosa Parks Did you really think it thru before you posted a stick figure smoking? What are you trying to teach our kids? Smoking is no longer an acceptable behavior, in fact the smoking population is one of the most discriminated populations there is. Between the outrageous taxes and the very strict restrictions on where they can actually smoke. I did yes, I grow my own so I don't pay taxes..  But then why don't you start a thread on the tobacco industry? This one is against racism.

Racism is still with us. But it is up to us to prepare our children for what they have to meet, and, hopefully, we shall overcome. Rosa Parks I believe it is something, as an adult or parent, to teach our kids both how it SHOULD be, and how it IS. Ignorance is maybe best fought with education and exposure. The issue stopped being a seat on the bus. WE have to keep fighting ignorance so it doesn't become an issue AGAIN, or much worse. |

Like most such terms I would speculate the amount of offense taken is inversely proportional to how attractive you are to them and/or your degree of "stranger" to them.
