then I suggest you conquer your nerves, if you dont try you will never know flowerforyou

Oh...I am not *afraid* to do most anything. 'ell..I scuba dive with a fear of water.

But when the brain decides to go out to lunch, and you are trying to get a woman to go to dinner - well - you get kinda stupid at times.

I'm saying why can't you just talk to them the same way you would anyone else.

Because I hate it when my brain decides to shut down, or I get functionally stupid. Happens occasionally around gals I think are very attractive.

go figure.

<---Rarely has ever had a woman make the 'first move'

Either that - or I am generally to thick-skulled to notice.

Your choice!

Too much truth? No such thing. That is like assigning a label on it - this is a "good" truth, while that over there is a "bad" truth. Truth is just factual information.

Now..what you *do* with it..perhaps another matter. You can certainly use your 'truth-powers' for good or evil.

A person relating that they don't have any sort of spark or feeling, and they would not like to continue dating - truly sucks, but probably a good thing.

Dr. walking in, saying "You are terminal, you have about 2 weeks, sucks to be you" may in fact be perfectly accurate - but not a great way to put things. (Thinking of any number of "House" episodes.)

Indiana;

So what exactly are you trying to point out there? That something *good* actually came out of the Iraqi wars? That a social situation has possibly been redeemed in the slightest? Surely you could not mean to tell us that a segment of Iraqi population actually have more liberty and freedom now, than when they lived under the benevolent, peaceful, altruistic rule of Saddam?

Sarcasm mode off now - Sorry Indiana - I am glad you posted.

*SOME* folks around here have seem to forgotten, living in Camelot as they do, that some really *innocent* people got hurt, raped, and murdered in Iraq while they p*ss, moan and complain about some poor "innocent" (read - idiotic) Canadian was complaining someone played mind games with him by threatening rape after he was with a group tossing grenades around.

And let's clear up ONE little misconception - It is NOT Doc's duty, nor any other military personnel's duty to "Kick in women's right's doors"

It *IS* their duty to see that the one who *should* be doing it, have the freedom to do so, without someone like Saddam torturing, raping or killing them. You can pick out the groups that *should* it would matter little to me.

I agree, that is why I am never angry or upset when I discuss my political beliefs. I am always a straight shooter, never deceptive and always smiling when I say it. It works wonders with most to seeing your side of things. Not saying that they will always agree but to see what you are trying to say is all.

HHmm..and this from the person who stated the following from a different forum

All of that talk is great and all and to an uncivilized, uncouth person that would make perfect sense,

Dragon - you are probably the one who does the most 'inflaming' in the Current Events section than anyone else I have seen here. And when I post an opposing opinion - you refer to me as uncouth and uncivilized, as if you are even *remotely* qualified to do so.

Sorry - you lost any all credibility and respect from my point of view with your constant negative propaganda pushing. You won't even bother trying to see things from a perspective other than your own Camelot.

Have been looking at Aussie-land as well.

Only problem being - how the 'ell do you get there? Almost seems even for a professional type person - tough to get sponsored in and such.

There is no comparison of Imus and Obamas preacher. The difference is that the preacher "believes" he is helping his flock, right or wrong, and Imus was derogatory just to be so.

Second, people do not follow everything that their preachers say do, nor do they all believe everything a preacher preaches.

We all knew that the race card would get pulled on this election and the gender card also. We all knew that Bill's problems would plague Hillary.

If you are a racist you were not going to vote for Obama anyway and if you are a chauvenist you were not going to vote for Hillary either so that leave McCain for the ignorant among us.

On this, I can agree with Dragon's post.

Racism and all the various forms of bigotry - including chauvinistic b.s. are alive and rampant globally.

NU posted:

i am sorry dragon but you are here only to inflame people with your views, do you live in a cave like bin laden??

Sorry I have to disagree with this statement. This would be more accurate:

"I am sorry Dragon, but you are here only to inflame people with your cut/paste postings, spewing of nonsensical drivel, and plagiarized views, of which you have demonstrated little to no *direct and relevant* knowledge of such plagiarized views."

Still may be a little off - but think it is much more in line with Dragon's typical post.

Shaw~ this is so not directed at you.

What i think we have gotten is this:

843 million threads about people complaining about the war.

I say stop complaining if you have no viable solution. I'm sick of it... and sick of hearing people whining, moaning, and groaning over it. It's so annoying. I mean, why focus on negativity and arguing over minutia details every fifteen minutes? Cutting and pasting articles and blog crapola...

Don't you have real issues in your lives to worry about~ ones that you might actually have some control over?

devil STOP IT!!!devil

Wow.... that was cleansing.

And thank you for mentioning this. Battles must be fought by soldiers. Finances must be addressed by acountants. Just like cars must be fixed by mechanics. This rule only applies if you want things done right. Most of those that post the threads about this stuff know little about stratigical thinking and have never been in a combat environment. (I emphasize MOST)
