I would be more upset with someone who wouldn't shut up. Saying few words might just mean that they are shy--not necessarily uninterested. Talking incessantly shows more of a lack of interest; they obviously don't care about what you have or want to say.

I have to say that if I was in the privacy of my own home, I'd prefer nothing.

My parents had my sister and me watch a video called "Where Did I Come From?" when I was around 5(?). I think I'm fairly glad I had that over "the talk".

And people ask me why I don't want to have children....

I can't stand being smothered or being asked 50 times a day how much I love a guy. That kind of ridiculous reaffirmation gets old and irritating really quickly.

I use an iMac G5 running OSX (v10.4.11). It's my baby.

I grew up using PCs and moved to a Mac in college. I got sick of all the viruses, spyware, adware, and just flaky nature of Windows. My Mac works how I expect a computer to work; if I want to uninstall a program, I drag it to the trash.

Macs have their drawbacks. As mentioned, they do have less software (especially with games and database programs). They also cost much more.

But I never have problems with my computer. I never have to see the "blue screen of death" again. I don't have to restart my computer randomly because it starts acting up. I don't have to run 20 scans every week.

A lot of it has to do with what you use your computer for. If I used my computer to play games or type databases, I'd go back to a PC. For me, there's just not much incentive.

That was priceless. I want that guy's outfit.

I always like Tarantino's movies. He has a style that I just can't help but appreciate.

You mentioned how parts of it seemed slow, but I see that as a pattern in Tarantino's style; he always has that build-up to the quick "bang" moment.

Four Rooms: all the talk until they finally go through with the bet....

Kill Bill: the last scene where they talk until the quick fight with the final anticipated move....

I thought Death Proof fit his style and loved the characters. Good flick.

About 9 years ago, I met a man online (through a different site) and fell in love with him. Later, we lost touch for a few years. JSH enabled me to find my love again, so I am eternally grateful to this site.
