Nice poem. It kind of made me think of "Stay Away" by Heavens to Betsy. You should check it out sometime, maybe you'll find it relatable. Just a warning, there is some screaming so headphones might be recommended.

If I see a bear in the woods, it's okay, it doesn't want to hurt me, it just wants to be my pimp. Okay, sorry, that probably should be explained. When I was younger I was going to join a friend of mine in Indiana, this friend happens to have several acres of woods in their backyard. My parents heard about this and told me this terrible tale of something that may happen, that we're out walking one day and we happen upon a bear and it attacks me, and then soon afterward my friend gets mad at me and kicks me out in the middle of the night and I have nowhere to go so I run to the bus station (that they don't happen to have in the town I was going to) and there's a guy there that talks to me nicely and buys me a meal and then demands that I be his prostitute and before I know it I'm a hooker in Indiana. I might mention that my friend doesn't have bears in his backyard and the nearest bear is a hundred miles away. My parents to this day still don't understand what's so funny about the hypothetical situation they told me all about.

I'm known among my friends for being really shy but cheeky as hell when I talk. I'm also known for being queen of the geeks and nerds, even more so since I discovered their secret lair equipped with couches, flat screen televisions, a bat cave, and computers.

If you ask me, I think some (not all, maybe not even close to all) just love the drama of it. I mean, from the stories we're told as kids, true love isn't easy. If there's a challenge to it, a beast inside that they think they can tame, even if it means getting hurt in the process, that thrills some women. Of course there's also the fact that the first time girls get teased when we're little someone's always there to tell us that the guy is just being mean because he likes us, and like that we're led to believe assholism=affection. Another excuse I've heard is that they seemed really cool at first, like unbelievably cool, then as time goes on their flaws came out. Why don't women date nice guys? Well... There are a lot of guys that label themselves as "a nice guy" just because they're not so lucky with the ladies, but in reality, they probably have some serious issue that's chasing the ladies off. For example, a friend of mine was cheated on once and never got over it so he takes his paranoia and insecurities out on any women that show interest in him. If a guy actually is nice, most women don't want to risk ruining what they have going with the one guy that is always there for them and proves that not all men are jerks. So if you are a genuinely nice guy, let me just say it's not you, it's us.

I think there might be a lot that sign up, but maybe not that stick around. I didn't even have a woman talk to me until I'd been on here for a few weeks. It has a list of locals women seeking women on my profile, but none of them have been on in months. I guess a lot of them got discouraged.

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same
When a wise man and a wise guy are very different? To overlook something and to oversee something are very different, But quite a lot and quite a few are the same. How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell the next? English is cuh-ray-zee! |
