Single 24 here looking for texas men to talk to

I think men have higher standards than women.Why? Well, because most
men(emphasis on most) expect their better half to look like a supermodel
or a playboy pin up.Lets face it, not all women look like that and if
they do it's bound to go south anyway.Not many men look for the heart in
a woman and all the things they could offer.Its all about how fine they
are,if they would bang them the first night and how big their sexual
appetite will be "if" they give them a chance.

He does have a point though.Some people are like that.They get so caught
up in how they want their better half to be that when they DO meet
someone who is willing to do anything for them they look for the
smallest detail that isn't right and then break up.Like they leave the
toilet seat up.you can work with that. Or they like onions in their
food..well kepp some mints on hand.lol

I hear you on that.I used to have low standards and just took what I
could get if they would have me but I wasn't happy. I'm glad I actually
made standards for myself and not just for myself but for my daughter.If
something happens to me(God forbid) she will need someone to look up to
and I want it to be someone who is respectable and caring and all the
things I am looking for in a mate.I like what you said about the ups and
downs because it is true.The more we experience the more we can
understand eachother when we find that special someone.

Recently, I was told that the reason why no one can find true love is
because our standards are too high.We have this mental image of our
"perfect" mate and in reality he/she doesn't exist.Not in this world
anyway. I think this person is full of crap.Whether we have high
standards or not, our perfect mate does exist.High standards just means
we know what we want,right?I believe in True Love and I know that there
is someone out there for everyone.God made us a pair,a better half, it's
just all about timing and faith. If I am 30 yrs old and still single or
even 40 I'm not giving up because I know what I have to offer a man and
I have faith that God will bring me my perfect mate.

I think my title says it all.lol

Today my ex showed up on my doorstep. He said he was here to talk to my
mom about her car but I could tell he was here to talk to me. It was so
obvious because he came in and was sitting next to me and then when my
mom left he started to ask me why I didn't stay with him.BECAUSE HE WAS
A JERK!HE FLIRTED WITH OTHER GIRLS IN FRONT OF ME!What the hell is wrong
with him?Then he started to go on about how I was always there for him
and that I was the only one he wanted.What a load of crap.Why don't guys
realize what they have when they have it?

I didn't think it was too much to ask. I guess some guys(or atleast the
ones I've met) are just buttheads.lol.Maybe they just aren't ready for
what I have to offer.

Let's see...you can say that I'm picky but I think I'm just a woman who
knows what she wants.I want someone who is taller than me, preferably
hispanic but I don't mind dating white men or mixed(like
mex&white,black&mex,etc.)I want someone who goes to church,has a good
head on his shoulders and knows where he wants to go in life.He has to
have some kind of goals.I am a family person and I would like for him to
be the same.You know bbq's on the weekends just because, going to the
parks to have water balloon fights,just an all around guy. Is that too
much to ask? I need a guys opinion.

I am looking for someone in the texas area who is attractive and knows
what he wants in a woman. I mean really know because I am so tired of
these guys telling me I'M what they were looking for and then breaking
up with me because I'm to good for them. What kind of crap is that?!!!?

Music expresses our every feeling in life and is a description of who we
are as a person. I love music because it brings so much meaning to a
persons life. When we are upset or full of joy,when we are making love
or when we are just experiencing our first kiss. It brings back lots of
good times as well as bad and can make us have a different point of view
of how life is.

I had that problem with my ex husband too.I pretty much did what king
said.He ran my life long enough and to hell with him I said. I had the
job, I was going to school,I had the babysitter available. If he didn't
want to take "our" son to keep me from doing anything then it was no
problem for me because in all actuality he was the one missing out on
spending time with his kid not me because I took care of my business.

I know there are some great men out there it just takes time to find
HIM. I have given up numerous times and had that mentality of all guys
are jerks but then you meet someone on the street who loves his wife or
girlfriend and actually does the things a man should do and all that
goes away because you know there is someone out there.
