I know there are some great men out there it just takes time to find
HIM. I have given up numerous times and had that mentality of all guys
are jerks but then you meet someone on the street who loves his wife or
girlfriend and actually does the things a man should do and all that
goes away because you know there is someone out there.

I think that there all lots of nice guys in the world. It all
depends on your definition of nice! I have known many "nice"
guys in my life, but it seems that they always have serious problems
sneaking in to ruin the nice. Such as child molesters,
alcoholics, drug addicts etc... Things that can easily be hidden
beneath the facade of a wonderful personality, good looks
money, security etc... By the time youve fallen for him you find out
all the other little disgusting secrets. I hate when
that happens! Not that Im so perfect, but I at least try to go by the
rules.

They usually tend to leave the worst secret for last.

nice guys aren't a myth but the asswholes realize that women are looking
for them so they front. the only problem is that they can't front
forever so you eventually find out what they are really like but even if
you find a nice guy there are still going to be problems
occassionally(nobody is perfect). keep looking, you just have to look
deeper. some of them have good personalities but you may not recognize
them because they are not real outgoing.

It's the people who are in their most valuable state who get fucked
over. So ya gotta keep your guard up.

i agree with you to a point ghostrecon but if your guard is up
constantly and you never allow anyone in because you're scared to get
hurt you aren't ever going to find a lasting and healthy relationship.
