Well, I found my first major dislike, and first major liking to Opera yesterday.
(-) You cannot watch full screen flash video without Opera crashing, or scroll through the streamed video without it hanging. (+) You can use speed dial, CTRL+1-9 to quickly access your preset favorites. |

It's not as secure as we'd all like to think. Try running Firefox for a month, and run your favorite spyware/adware program.
Now run Internet Explorer for a month, and do the same. If you pretty much did all the same things, you'll notice that Firefox only blocks more tracking cookies than IE does. The new IE is more secure than it was in the past. That doesn't mean however, that Firefox is less secure, it just means that IE has caught up a bit (it's a good thing for us all). I suspect, as time goes on, the new IE will become more vulnerable again, since more users use IE. Just stick with Firefox, it works great, and for the most part, is more secure than IE...if only a little bit. |

I just started using it earlier today. Seems solid so far. Give a better review after a month of use or so.

Firefox > Internet Explorer IMO.
IE is more open to attacks because it is more widely used. Even the new IE. It's not a bad internet browser, and sites designed for it definitely run smoothly but Firefox just has a bit more security. NOT A LOT MORE. Firefox is also widely targeted because it's becoming more popular. You can always try switching to Opera or some other type of browser, but they are a bit buggy. |

I didn't like the "live action" movie. I liked the old movie from the 80's with Unicron though.
They didn't stress the ancient civilization that built the Transformers. That the Decepticons were the military branch of these machines and became self-aware and overthrew their creators. They also didn't tell how the Autobots were merely the construction robots, but also became self-aware with a sense of justice, that the Decepticons were wrong. Also, where was the energon? They were fighting over a "life-spark" and that destroyed Megatron. I'm glad they finally got it right, and made Megatron a powerful Decepticon who wasn't just some dumbs#it (like in the 80's cartoons), and I can live with him being a jet instead of a gun, but to be destroyed by that kid with the life-spark... |

Guild Wars anyone?

Other than the fact that it's free, I don't really care for it. You can't jump down a small hill...even if it's only like a foot drop. The enemies are repetitive and you'll be seeing the same ones for a long time.
No one groups, and there's not really a community to speak of. In WoW you will constantly party up with friends and/or guildmates. In Guildwars, everyone is too busy with their own thing to ever want to party up. Granted, you can get your own NPC party, but then it sort of defeats the purpose of an MMORPG. Everything outside of towns is instanced, so you will never run into anyone else outside of town. Further taking away from finding friends for future gaming. Before you get the wrong idea, it's not that I don't like Guildwars, it's a solid game, but it's not somethign I would ever pay a monthly fee for, nor buy any of the expansions. |

Exactly my point! Some enemies don't have attacks that can be dodged at all, and some enemies attacks are so pathetic that you can dodge all of them, or they don't do anything even if they do hit you.
I guess I wanted a game like Doom or Quake, leaving you in charge of your dodge/crits (crits done by hitting certain parts) but your overall damage, defense, powers, etc., RPGish. What server are you playing on? Wanna party up? |
