im going to upgrade to dsl soon so i can start playing WOW ive never plaed WOW b4 n im thinking of making an undead rogue with a penchant 4 explosives

The Undead Rogue is an excellent choice. If you plan to be PVP, then the nice thing is you can get a Trinket to break fear and you have "Will of the Forsaken", which will also break fear. Using the two together, you will be very effective against some Warlocks. Tricky warklocks, such as myself, would still eat you alive. Rogues really get an "easy button" in the game. With your ability to vanish and sneak, you will be able to complete quests without difficulty that would otherwise require a group.

I've never done engineering, but I have heard that it is a great tradeskill.

I downloaded WOW as well, and when I finally get my 'puter working with this dopey firewall thingey and its associated port forwarding, I will be getting into it ...

Just FYI: Don't use wireless for WoW, you have to stick with a wired connection. I tried the wireless DSL router thing and it didn't work. Every quest turn in reset the modem, kicking me off line.

also y r the blood elves allied with the horde? the books dont say quite y and i was thinking that that just doesnt make sense that they dont reconcile with the night elves

Yes, Blood Eves are in the Horde. They are a neat race, but I didn't level mine up too much

If you can try to get high speed DSL if available. Its really good and would be perfect for affordable wow playing.

dont worry bout me getting addicted to it, Im a raging magic the gathering junky and that is FAR more addictive than any video game, its like paper crack. and if dsl lets me play it then im fine with that. Im sure it will
