I ignore all the propaganda. I actually use a lot of independant research sites and several research study sites that conduct their own studies on popular issues. I also use a bit of the governmental instutite available data sites (Nasa, the military branches, and the meteorology and oceanagraphic institutes).

Its all propaganda. laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

laugh No, some of it is just data... waiting to be turned into propaganda!

I'd say both play a part... but it is choice that truely defines who they will become. Genetics and environment will influence you... but you still choose how you will deal with each and every situation. Granted... this may not be easy to do, and some situations are tougher to control than others.

Not really JB. Just if something is said that isn't well looked into (and I catch it) I like to tear it apart.laugh I'm spiteful with those who can't think and research for themselves.

Um... I generally know if I am keeping something or not. So this topic is not really relevant to me.laugh Sorry, I just don't pick it up and carry it around with me if I'm not going to buy it!

Okay, so after careful consideration I have decided the no child left behind idea in our educational system is extremely flawed. They are focusing only on a small demographic of students who do the worst.
Now, remembering my own experience in public schools I can safely declare that anyone not in said demographic is left behind... the abilities of student who actually get something that is taught are not fostered, but left to stagnate!
Anyone care to disagree that we are leaving children behind... although not the ones that were initially thought of?

Hmm.... I'm an oddball from the northern front range. I like to tear apart unresearched political pieces on JSH and no crack silly jokes!

My city is a city. Yep, people being stupid, lots of businesses and residences, some things to do. It's a city.

Oh, and you can call me Rob, robert, robm, whatever as long as you keep it nice!~

I think my favorite was telling them straight up "I'm sorry, can you please back off? You are pushing people away from God."

I really can't stand that kind of action myself. If you want to convert someone you don't sit there and annoy them, lol!laugh

Just do some little things... clean up the house a bit, if dinner isn't going out or ordering in... make it for her. Tell her you didn't need a card, because you are there and wanted to show her your love throughout the day!

No network. The pc is BRAND NEW. I let someone do things to it, who knows what.... and now I cannot save to the drive. It is not a networked computer, unless he messed that up too.

I can use it if I put in a disc, as in to load to the pc, but not save anything to it on a disc from the pc.

k, check those settings...!

You forgot:

Scenario: Trevor is falling behind, can't keep up with the curriculum.

1957: Trevor gets a tutor, and is held back a grade if needed.

2007: The teacher stops teaching any new material, focusing solely on Trevor. The school board receives a notice stating that the curriculum is too hard, and that a student is falling behind. The curriculum is further reduced, so that no child is left behind. Meanwhile other students are left sitting in school for nothing. Result: Japan owns america in 10 years...laugh

Can you normally access the information on a cd in that drive?

It might be that your drive is under a different location than it was before (unlikely but possible). It might also be that a setting for that drive has been changed and needs to be changed back. I would make sure the settings are correct first (for windows select 'my computer' and right click on your cd drive, then go to properties, then recording). If something doesn't seem right in there it way well be the cause of your issue.

If you can't access information on a cd in that drive your drive may be: Moved, ie: d: to g:
Having a driver issue. You may want to consider a restoration of the pc, or downloading a driver update.
Not wired properly.

There are a lot of little things that might cause this... if you have someone nearby who can help it's probably a good idea. The above would just be a few things I would check first!

mad So here is the story. i had my taxes done back in March so I could get the $$$$$ back early. I had my accountant do them so there would be no error. I looked on the Irs web site 3 weeks ago to find that i should get my refund back by what was supposed to be Monday. i called the IRS and they said there was a huge mix-up with my name due to my accountants error. Now they tell me that it will be at least 10 weeks before they even fix the error and then another 6 to 8 weeks till i get my $$$$$
I am so mad all i can offer is this advice make sure your accountant is not an idiot like mine. Sorry but i had to vent to my JSH familysad sad sad sad sad sad

You are supposed to check your return before you sign it.

Signed

No i did check it. The Irs says that the accountant sent a revised copy of my return with a hyphen in my name I don't have a hyphen in my name someone is not telling the truth

An Accountant.Did your accountant tell you that she was

evising your return, and why?

no i just found all this out about 15 minutes ago

The thing is, your accountant cannot send in an amended return without getting your signature again. I think the IRS is the party that screwed up.

Note: if the accountant amended it without permission then they screwed up. If the irs accepted it they did as well. Oh, and as for the abacus... as long as it's a foam model of one I'm sure we won't mind too much!
