Well I just got back home yesterday from meeting a women from this website. And its not a love story. I was pretty hurt to be honest. I joined about 3 months ago. One of my good friends told me about the site. I thought I would check it out, was not looking for anything serious just wanted to chat with people and take things slow. So I had this women message me. We talked for about 3 weeks on the site. Then later e-mails and finally on the phone.

We both used yahoo or aim messenger. Shared Photos, being on web cam with each other. It was fun, and cool at same time.

Now there came to a point when she really wanted to meet me. I mean we live in different states. She told me she really liked me and wanted to meet to see how far we would go. I told her I wanted to wait a while, save up some money, we all have bills I can't just rush out on the spare of the moment. But she was not happy with waiting. She got very sad/upset. Cried online and on phone to me.

So I took time off work and went this past week to visit her. I took off work and she paid for my flight to and back. Pretty fair deal since she wanted to meet so soon.

So I fly out to here and stay at her place, the first two days were great. We have been on cam with each other so we both looked as we did in real life and it was love. But after the 2nd day things changed real quick. She got distant. Real quick. I sat in the bed room with her and we talked. She told me

So then she got online and paid for another set of plane tickets. And I got back 4 days earlier and it cost her more money.

After being home I talked with her today. I decided that it would be best if we didn't talk online/phone/or e-mail for a long time, until I can get my head clear of what happened.

I don't feel wrong for asking this of her. I am pretty hurt about the whole thing, because of all the time we talked, and being online with each other to have that feeling of trust or safe zone suddenly taken from me.

This is the first time I never meet anyone from online. Not a good start I guess.

That might work, might scare the neighbors though. :)

Gawd, what was her problem??? And yeah, it'd be easier if we could order "the perfect man/woman." I'm thinking androids now. :)

Good way to look at it. I met a guy off the net and realized we weren't going to work out after the second date. It was only 2 weeks into the "relationship" so it wasn't too bad. And I was polite enough to explain to him why. No idea why people can't be considerate. *shakes head*
