And more predictions.......

Tim Tebow will hate his rookie year, as he will feel that God has abandoned him in that he (Tebow) just simply cannot run over NFL players like he did college players. Tebow will be seen on the sidelines crying, but then Lucifer will arrive and comfort him.

Pac Man Jones will be arrested AGAIN. This time, he will get caught with a she-male in downtown Cincy. Jones will then launch a campaign talking about how straight he is, and that he was tricked. A paper trail will develop from Tennessee, but the Titans will have no comment (paper shredders will be heard in the background).

Michael Vick will adopt a chia pet. Since this is the only pet he can have, PETA will be watching his every move. Sources indicate that Donovan McNabb is behind PETA getting involved.

Jay Cutler will announce that Chicago is too cold of a city for him to be effective. This comment will come after he has a terrible game in the Metrodome.....a dome stadium....no weather to effect him. Anyways, this will cause reporters to look into how Cutler got into Vanderbilt University....which is a touch academic school. It will then be revealed that Cutler was studying typewriter maintenance at VU....which is not part of the curriculum. Apparently, Cutler is an idiot. Who knew?

As a Bronco fan, I love watching Cutler stink up the joint...

Keep on slinging it JC! Jeff George is starting to get upset about the comparisons...

What if they wanted to construct a Catholic Church next to a childrens playground?

What does that have to do with anything? offtopic

What did Pelosi really being a man have to do with anything?? offtopic

And the Catholic church being super fond(le) of children has been widely reported...

I'm sure you've heard...

Certainly the Islamic faith has earned its critics. But so has the Catholic Church...

And would the tea party be okay with the necessary tax hikes to accomplish this??

I'm all for sticking a boot up Ahmadinejad's ars, but when the bill comes, I don't want to hear the same people advocating policies requiring huge expenditures complaining...

"Bill Clinton lowered the culture, moral tone and strength of the nation — and left America vulnerable to attack. When it came, George W. Bush stood up for America, albeit sometimes clumsily."

Yeah, Bush did a great job "standing up for America"...

We only lost 4 airliners, 2 buildings of the WTC, and the the city of New Orleans...

Not to mention the biggest surplus our country ever had. Funny no tea party sprung up then, huh??

I get so sick of this childish arguing over which party is better. THEY BOTH SUCK!! People act like if Republicans are voted in, then everything will be all better.

If Republicans truly want the moderate vote, they're going to seriously need to consider Ron Paul. These George Bush's and Sarah Palin's morons they're offering us are even bigger parts of the problem.

I realize Paul is a radical, but we need a third party in the worst way. And don't give me "The tea party". They're just the Republican base driven to hysteria by Fox news. When I think of leadership, I think of calm, clear headed, steely eyed realists.

Not pee-your-pants paranoid crybabies...

easy there _fire...

it's not so much that he is a *****, he does not need the money, he has plenty of that now, he is fighting to secure his legacy.

for some time now he has fought guys (good fighters) on their way down. (safe fights, mostly)

Pacquiao is the one guy who can ruin that legacy. i would love to see the fight too, but i just don't think it will happen. it would be the biggest money fight of all time, however if you look at it from his point of view, he has more to lose than to gain from this mach-up.

That's why I called him a pu$$y. The thing about Pacquiao is he gets hit alot by constantly being on the offensive. If Mayweather fought the defensive fight he always does, he very well could "out box" Pacquiao in a completely boring fight that is typical of modern boxing (and MMA as Myka pointed out).

But Floyd just wants to fight people he knows he can beat.

If I just played children in one-on-one basketball games, and went undefeated, I wouldn't call myself a champion.

do not forget that Paquiao still will not agree to the testing, so it cannot all be blamed on Mayweather...

ok here is my short list of best fights.(in no particular order)

Micky Ward and Arturo Gatti I...what a war this one was (great trilogy)

Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera I...a total slugfest

Aaron Pryor and Alexis Arquello

Julio Cesar Chavez and Meldrick Taylor...Taylor ko'd with 2 seconds left...uughhhhh!!!

Hagler and Hearns Leanard and Hearns...classic fights

this list just keeps growing...

Ward-Gatti was EPIC. They replayed those 3 fights the other day on HBO. 36 rounds of fury...Unbelievable.

And didn't the Chavez-Taylor fight get stopped with 2 seconds left?? Maybe memory betrays, but I think Taylor was winning the cards then the fight was stopped...

But yeah, those were all classics. Just don't see 'em like that as much anymore, unfortunately...

well if boxing is dead, it's because of tyson and don king...tyson was /is an idiot, and don king because he scammed everyone.

I couldn't agree with you more about Don King...drinker

I hate Don King. My uncle was a 5 time world champion boxer (Johnny Tapia, was 48-0, before his first loss), who got screwed out of millions by Don King after leaving him as promoter. But Johnny is good friends with Mike Tyson, so I'm not allowed to say anything bad about him. Truth be told, Johnny and Mike are both crazy, that's why they get along...

And yep, Pacquiao moved onto Antonio "fists of plaster" Margarito.

The Mayweather/Pacquiao fight is deader than disco.

I loved to watch Johnny fight, hell of a fighter..

I'm sure he'd appreciate that. He had some Pacquiao in him, always going all out. He fought some battles against Pauly Ayala and Danny Romero in the late '90s. How I miss those days...

While working on his article published yesterday in the New York Times highlighting the right-wing media’s “misleading coverage,” reporter Brian Stelter did some background research into cable news viewership demographics. While he didn’t include the findings in his story, he found them notable enough to publish on Twitter. The Huffington Post summarizes the results:

The New York Times’ Brian Stelter tweeted that, according to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News has averaged just 29,000 black viewers in primetime so far this television season (9/09-7/10). That represents just 1.38% of its 2.102 million total viewer audience.

CNN and MSNBC, meanwhile, both have far more black viewers, both in absolute terms and as a proportion of their overall audiences.

Fox’s coverage of race hasn’t done anything to attract an African-American audience. Their “long history of aggressive race-baiting and racially charged commentary” has perhaps alienated many of their viewers. As Stelter reported in his article, “The National Association of Black Journalists has faulted Fox for years for inaccurately portraying blacks.” The group recently condemned the channel for their “lack of due diligence” on the Shirley Sherrod story. The group’s criticism came on the heels of Fox News contributor slamming Fox host Megyn Kelly being slammed on air for “doing the ’scary black man thing’” with her coverage of the New Black Panthers Party faux scandal.

in the interest of BALANCE, I am going to look up the numbers for MSNBC and CNN as well and I will edit this when I do,,,unless someone else wants to

thanx

This kind of nonsense is exactly why all your liberal newspapers and tv stations are going out of business.Instead of focusing on the things that are really important to people and this country you have idiots that are worrying about why a certain number of black people are not watching fox news.Seriously who cares about this worthless piece of news? The reason Fox news and the Tea party are making huge gains with the American people is because they are telling and showing the American people what they want to hear and see.Fox news and the Tea party are focusing on the real issues out there, the important issues.Taxes, big Government, spending, laws,Constitutional issues.Meanwhile you have CNN talking about is this moron a racist,is that moron a racist? Is the Tea party racists. How many blacks are in the tea party? Is Arizona racists?Right wing this, right wing that.Name calling, whining, crying, gloom and doom, blame this guy, blame that guy. It's enough to make you puke.

Fox news and the Tea party are fighting for EVERYONE.They are fighting for America.CNN and all your other liberal idiots are only looking out for their cause, their audience, and their agenda. That is why they are losing ratings.Only a small majority feel like they are speaking to them.

What happens when you streamline the media to cater to certain people??

Complete Self-righteousness on both ends of the political spectrum. When you watch fox news all day, as a Republican, you never have to face the concept that you might be wrong. The Tea Party isn't fighting for everyone anymore than anti-war protestors are fighting for everyone. I personally couldn't care any less about expanded government, or taxes, that's what the tea party cares about.

Clinton raised taxes and did more to expand the government than any president in recent history and created millions of jobs in the process, not to mention a roaring economy.

"The reason Fox news and the Tea party are making huge gains with the American people..."

But I am glad you acknowledged that Fox news and the tea party are one in the same.

God bless College Football!!

I love the NFL, but it's just a little too corporate for me...

College Stadiums are louder...

The tix are cheaper...

Hell, I have season tix to AFA (the best team in CO btw) for just $70. Bronco tix cost me over $200, easy...

Plus SATURDAY is the greatest day in the history of days...

The BCS sucks, but we'll deal with that in January...

Oh, Come on!!

Fox News is Fair and Balanced and you know it!!laugh

But seriously, in today's age we have news that is streamlined for specific people. If you like Fox News and are a Republican, then everyday is Valentine's day, and the same is true for MSNBC and Democrats.

There aren't that many black republicans, so it stands to reason they wouldn't watch. And for the most part even black people who aren't politically inclined, are still very supportive of Obama simply because of what he represents to their children and grandchildren. So of course they wouldn't watch a channel that makes its dollars denigrating the man.

They once called a fist bump between the President and the First Lady, "a terrorist fist bump", for crying out loud...
