I would say: confidence, worldliness, experience, and a sense of self. Some would call that maturity, but women over 40 are more likely to know what they want and be honest about it without playing games. They have no qualms about tossing a man to the curb who can't understand that or deal with it. It really makes dating a whole lot simpler. AMEN!

I work with two women who do nothing all day long but post and read posts while they are at work!! It's ridiculous!!! (They both have IPhones...you'd think they could find something better than Facebook to occupy their time?)
I have a page but rarely check it. Maybe once a week if even that. Unless I get notified that someone sent me a message and then I will get on and check it. It has been a cool way to reconnect with some old high school friends but let's face it...there are very few of those that I would even still consider "friends" so....lol. I can think of MUCH better ways to spend my time than Facebook!!!

I miss the friendship and the affection. My second ex and I were like best friends. There was NOTHING I couldn't tell him. And he was very affectionate physically. Always touching me, hugging me, holding my hand, arm around me...etc. My new boyfriend is not a physically affectionate person and I really miss that. He has gotten better but is still severly lacking in that area!
