me, i miss a lot of things. but really, the most important thing was having someone to just spill your heart out to . i miss getting a back rub while i talked about things i had never spoken about before. i miss that feeling of being there for one another. yes i miss sex, but whatever. thats not what made my relationship. i just want a good friend, a person to talk to. a person to make me feel good. what do you miss?

Mostly having the one person I could be completely honest with and just be myself around! The ex hubby & I are Bffs and soul mates. He "gets me" and we think so much alike that after no contact for 4+ yrs we are still able to finish each others sentences & understand the other persons emotions (well now that we are both willing to listen to one another).
With the ex bf I only miss the companionship, but with the ex hubby I miss it all, especially the sex  I miss his touch, kiss, smile, laugh, the way he snuggled up to me, his smell, and his great sense of humor (the ex bf lack one of those).
We have taken some time apart to heal life's wounds and have recently reconnected. It spun my head how quickly the friendship got back on track & we are working on the rest. Since he won't be home for another 3 years we have plenty of time to figure this soul mate thing out! I am happy to have the friendship back and could live with just that, but I still want all of it back (except for his drunk buddies & the police of course). It's never easy loving the bad boys though! |
