Fortunate to say, I differ from all. I had a LONG distance relationship for 3yrs. I live in PR and he lives in NY. We spoke everyday, we would visit every other weekend (I'd fly up or he'd fly down!) Trust was never an issue. In the long run we couldn't decide who should relocate...I wanted to stay here because my kids' Dad is a good Dad and he said he couldn't deal with the slow pace of PR so...eventually we, broke up because we fell out of love. Your heart/soul really know whom you should trust. That little voice is 'real'...listen to it. I don't regret it one bit. Would I do it again..if my heart told me!

I came on this site to make new friends not looking for a 'potential mate' and I have gotten that 'you've got a pretty face but u should loose weight' thing...

I am ME...I love ME...and whomever chooses to be with ME has to accept ME the way I AM!

It's a package deal!!!... the kids, the dogs, the birds, etc...it doesn't make me less attractive nor less of a person being overweight.

I don't know about you guys, but I live very far from where u guys are and I honestly just like reading your posts and meeting new people with different ideas and of course a different culture!

That being said....be confident in the way you portray yourself, have faith (it's one of the few things NO ONE can take away from you) and believe that if there is someone out there for you, YOU will find him or he will find you!!

Gosh..as a mother of 2 even when they go to their dads house for the weekend I call them...so completely shutting them out is unconceiveable, but if your daughter asks about her then I would tell her otherwise, as someone previously stated, I would let sleeping dogs lie.

Hey Lex...everybody says 'move on'...but we always have that "what if" going on. All I can tell you is that you know what it is you should do. You've seen this person go through other relationships, eventhough not the same scenario, but still make the same mistakes...or are they??? SHE is the one who is commiting to these type of men. I've always read your posts and you have always given good advise...please take some of that and use it on U!!

Please do remember that even though a lot of people do this for the heck of it...some of us, are here for friends, and we will be there if you need us...that being said, if you ever need to talk, I'm here and I know for a fact so are others.
