When a guy says "There's only fifteen minutes left in the game." or when a woman says "I only have to pick up a few things. I'll be back in fifteen minutes." ?? Just thought I'd stir the pot a little.

If the guy is at the 'bar' watching the game...his 15 minutes takes longer than mine

The 15 minutes in the game is riding on the clock. So that usually rounds out to about 20-25.
When I say I need 15 minutes to pick up the stuff on my list..that's not counting the additional time I'll need to browse the aisles and decide upon impulse buys. So, I'd say the woman would take longer if said woman is me.

I have to say that when I go in the store to get something I will go get what I need then I am right out.
But if I'm with someone else like one of my gf's then don't expect me out in 15 mins. Sometimes I do get side tracked tho and end up talking to someone I meet and that is longer than 15 mins... Oh well, NO I can't get stick with the 15min rule.. Sorry
