My daughter does mine. I've had them all...it's great for conversations when playing in a tournament..people will come up and ask why purple/green/blue..and so on..

C..all I can say is by past experience, that we ( a friend and I )were on the wrong page 17 yrs ago, and we caught up with each other 5 yrs ago, still on the 'wrong page'!! Some things aren't meant to be.

So all I have to say is that we shouldn't look at 'what if's'...just go for it and if it works out good for you, if it doesn't move on!! If I start thinking about why I didn't accept the relationship 17 yrs ago...I'd go nuts

Come on..cheap shot there!! You know as well as I do that when we were that age, we would could basically get away with anything, some of us were bad at it some were really good!! It hasn't changed. Our kids will try to 'up'one on us!! It doesn't mean that we didn't pay attention to them, it's just that they were 'smart' like were were at their age in going behind our parents back!

Finally, regarding the original question, it's not something to condone, but this is what society is promoting. Peer pressure is so hard on kids growing up nowadays, that for us parents who DO put our foot down, and who DO speak to our kids, it is EXTREMELY difficult for them not to succumb to peer pressure. What is done, is done, TALK, don't speak to her in a judgmental state, but do TALK about what is bothering you. She'll listen.
