Age doesn't matter to me. I guess I should have said more. Most are all in the early to late twenties, one in his thirties...I am invited to work related parties...and I'll just say they party a bit too much for me. I did that in my teens, 20's and early 30's and its just not my cup of tea anymore. So its a little difficult to have things in common with my co-workers when all they want to do is get drunk or stoned ya know?

its very difficult for me too. I work long hours, share my kids with my ex-husband, and still have to take care of things at home.

People say go out...you can't be seen unless you're out, and i know that's true. Its just I don't have many friends (I just moved to Jersey after being away for 7 years), so its difficult to find people to go out with (most of my friends are married). Sometimes I want to give up!!! Because its really not the end of the world to be alone....I mean I have my kids....I love my job...anyway, just venting a bit I guess.

I just got home from attending a wake of a very good friend of mine. He was the firefighter in jersey who passed away suddenly on Sunday. It was unbelievable! They blocked the highways off...the entire fire department was there guarding the casket and ushering people in and out. There was at least 400 people there. You see, I was married to a fireman for 10 years. The man who died, his wife was the one to introduce me to my ex. Back in the 80's, we went on double dates together. And I just can't believe that this wonderful man is now not with us anymore. He left behind a wife, a 12-year old son and a 2 year old son.

After reading all the posts and posting a few myself, I think it is time for me to do some soul searching. Love the site! All you guys are great! Just need to take some time for myself, get myself in shape, physically and mentally. Thank you all for nice things said and I'll be back!

my daughter, 14, is dying to see it. She reads all the books and then when she knows the movie is coming out, she'll go back and read the book and is upset when the movie doesn't quite match the book....lol

I personally went on the second...just to make sure. I thought maybe he was nervous (which is understandable). Another thing: I was NOT nervous at all. That was my first clue.

personally, I think that once you've had your "first" love...and you get hurt...you never love like that again....I know I never have.
