Does everyone still think they are going to find that Perfect Love that they always assumed they would when they were younger?
I know we're all trying but do you really still think it's out there? |

personally, I think that once you've had your "first" love...and you get hurt...you never love like that again....I know I never have.

Sluggo, I DID find it once and then lost it, but....
....I still think there's some kind of infinitesimal chance of it happening again.... ....and it's not like there's really all that much on TV, so.... |

I pray someday I will find my Mr. Right... When i was a kid I used to look at the stars and say a prayer for him every night - not that he would come whisk me away - but realistic stuff like "i hope he has a good day" or such and such. it sounds kind of corny. I am not as naive as I was and my eyes are wide open because the experiences of my marriage but there is a guy out there that will understand and be there whereever he is.

I think so and when they do it is going to be like so this is love. Hmmm, no wonder it took me so long. sure have been easier if somone had just told me then come to the realization of well maybe they did but it just the right time or I was too busy searching for it.

I was thinking about it the other day and finally though: Damn, it's not out there (we're all chasing something that doesn't exist)...I hope I'm wrong but we'll see

I keep thinking about the explores that looked for the Fountain of Youth and the Holy Grial... we don't always find what we're looking for |

I'm pretty content where I am at right now. I'm learning a lot and also applying what I learn - that always brings me a happy state of mind/being. Love of that style to me is more like spices on spaghetti They enhance the flavor, but I'm still got gonna starve without them.

Well, I think it might actually be easier to find when we're not looking: plus we'd probably enjoy everything else we're doing a hell of a lot more instead of feeling like somethings missing everytime something good happenes
