I look at profiles. specially if they have posted something interesting
or utterly idiotic. I thank people that have viewed my profile. I have
tried to mail a few girls in regards to a thread or a post, or to offer
comfort, but they have filters. And I am not switching teams
whatsoever!

I have randomly read through this thread which I find incredibly
interesting and the opinions posted very intelligent.

But, I will have to go to Alex's orginal question: "what weapons would
you use if there were no more guns?

I would use the weapon at hand, which would probably be my bare hands. I
have never owned a gun or any kind of weapon, well, save for a slingshot
when growing up. I was blessed to grow up in a very safe and secure
environment provided by ny parents, and weapons were never a necessity
in my home.

If the human being follows the same patterns of evolution we did before,
we will eventually come up with weapons.

If I recall correctly weapons did not started as such but as means
(tools) to survive: first, using them to catch bigger prey, or to defend
ourselves, being the prey. Eventually, in anger we turned against each
other and other feelings started taking over: greed, ambition, envy,
jealousy. Then these tools became weapons, and men started organizing
themselves, to defend their territories and started using the tools they
had.

In ancient cultures the Woman was revered. She was the Mother Earth.
Rites were done to bless the earth and have Mother Earth provide for us.

Then, it changed with the advent of the Church as an organized entity
and the love and reverence for Mother Earth and the Absolute Feminine
was vanquished.

But matriarchy is very much alive in our societies. No matter how much
the times have changed, the woman is still the nurturing force, the
protective force. She can be an employee in the lowest scale at a large
corporation. But once she comes home, she is Queen. Let's leave aside
the facts that there is domestic violence and everything else. She is
the head of that household. The absolute Empress of the Empire.

So, if there was a weapon for me to choose, it would be the Power of
being a Woman.

day when the sun shines, although it may rain. Another day where the
breeze will mess up our hair, another day the tide will bring in a new
wave and wash away the old.

This thread was orginaly started to request prayers for Michael Green,
mg1959. He has touched so many lives and so many hearts with his words
and his kindness. After requesting his permission he allowed me to
reveal his name in the thread. Although he is in a delicate condition,
his inner strength and indomitable character are keeping him here for
us. He will continue treatment as an outpatient, and we will be sending
him our prayers, our love and our energy.

May every other heartbeat from our hearts go to his, may everyother
breath we take in go to him, we wish a prompt recovery and that we will
be able to join you soon in a wonderful JSH party.

To all of you,thank you, on behalf of Michael...

I hope you all understood the need for privacy Michael had, and that I
just couldn't let this dear friend go through this ordeal on his own. I
am so happy that he is still among us and he will stay here for a long
time.

Michael, my angel, our angel... I've prayed for you from the day our
paths crossed. I will keep on praying, no matter what. Your will,your
courage, your bravery, your compassion, your understanding and your love
will keep me, us, going.

We will keep the prayers thread going...for Michael, and I would like to
request a special prayer for Tantalizing Tulip sister, who's battling
cancer.

It has been brought to my attention that another good friend has
undergone extensive surgery, he is also battling cancer... Please let's
pray for him to find health and for his family to have the strength and

I look a lot like my mom, but I have a lot from the females in my dad's
family. My mom is of black ethnicity and my father is creole, mix of
white and indians... so, But I take mostly after my mom.

My children all take after me. All three of them. And my nephews, my
brother's sons, they look like me too.

We all are leading characters in our lives. Many times are the
anonimous heroes those who leave everlasting marks.
