Question: Is that not the same region of Memory storage? Kind of like a file cabinet of experience storage?

emotion is primarily determined by the cingulate cortex and, secondly, by other cortical areas. Emotional expression was thought to be governed by the hypothalamus. The cingulate gyrus projects to the hippocampus, and the hippocampus projects to the hypothalamus by way of the bundle of axons called fornix. Hypothalamic impulses reach the cortex via relay in the anterior thlamic nuclei. |

Hey Scoundrel,
I don't know a lot about Bo Diddly, but I think ya done a right fine job here. There are a couple of spots where the flow gets a lil choppy, but I think if ya keep rollin through it out loud, you'll find 'em and fix that - no prob! Again, nice job! |

So very much more than self can see.
Vibes of extreme love and light to you both. The color? Hmmm like that of walking through misty shadow into that brilliant white light of straight up, pure love with a tinge of aqua for...........the dawning of belief. oh yeah, sooooo WAY! |

"Menopause is the permanent cessation of reproductive fertility some time before the end of the natural lifespan. The term was originally used to describe this reproductive change in human females, where the end of fertility was traditionally indicated by the permanent stopping of menstruation or "menses". The word "menopause" literally means the "end of monthly cycles" from the Greek words pausis (cessation) and the word root men (month).
The meaning of the word menopause has in more recent times been expanded to indicate the permanent discontinuation of female fertility in many other species, such as some matrilineal whales, despite the fact that such animals experience no menstrual cycles." The above is taken from Wikipedia (Okay, not the best source perhaps, yet it gave me where the word came from, so it'll do.) Men-o-pause, perhaps more so because a woman going through this literally causes, "Men to pause". "Whoa, mad woman in our midst, back up and watch your step - she could go either way!" Back up world, there is a live volcano in your midst. She could settle back down or BLOW all over the place. The male side of her is at a total loss with that "WTF" sensation, how do I fix this? You don't, you just wait it out and be prepared to have anything and everything you do or say be blamed on "hormones". Very similar to being pregnant actually and as it should be, for you are gestating a new phase of life only this time, it's your's alone with no squalling bundle of joy at the end. Yup, you really are very similar to being pregnant only now you will birth (hmmm, actually, just like you have no idea what personality a child will be born with)........ WHAT will the Elder you are morphing into be like? |

Is there a song you know that gives you a feeling of peace and strength, one your mother knows too perhaps? Hum it T, very softly, hold her hand or gently straighten her hair and hummmm.

I know that's why I thought it would be amusing to see how your "little voice" would react.

Chapter 3 WHAM!!!! ( WHAT THE..????) …my question exactly. Where the hell am I? Brian tried to look around him, but found he could only see darkness. ( ya know? I think we are in a pile of straw ) …straw??? How would you know that? ( you probably don’t remember, but try to think back to that field trip with Mrs. Kennedy science class back in the fifth grade ) ….fifth grade?? I’m THIRTY for cryin out loud. ( well, you may not remember, but I do. This stuff smells like something that was at the petting zoo ) …well if you say so… ( so can we move? ) …a little ( turn your head and try to look for light somewhere ) Craning his neck, which wasn’t exactly easy, Brian thought he could detect a faint glimmer of light just above him and slightly to his right. …ok yeah. I see some light up there ( ok good. That means we aren’t dead ) ..are you sure? ( point taken. Just see if you can dig us out of here ) Moving very carefully, he discovered that if he moved just a little bit at a time, he could make some progress toward getting out of the position he was in. ( wow. Kinda like being in an avalanche ) …how the hell would you know? We’ve never been in one ) ( saw it on tv once ) ..figures ( what’s THAT supposed to mean? ) …never mind. Let’s just see if we can get out of here. ( alright, then. But I am going to ask you for an explanation to that comment eventually ) Ever so slowly, Brian made progress in moving toward source of the light. As he moved, he heard what he thought might be the rustling of mice moving around in the ( straw? ) pile. Shaking of a mild case of the heebie jeebies, he made his way up to the point where the light was coming in. He couldn’t help but pause when the thought stuck him that it might be possible that the light he was seeing was the illumination that people who have had near death experiences sometimes describe. ( seriously? Get a grip, dude ) ..oh leave me alone will you? Making the decision that to find out one way or the other would be the best course of action, Brian stuck his hand up and broke through the layer of whatever ( straw ) it was that he was buried under and felt gentle warmth. Figuring he wasn’t stuck in the depths of Hell, he leveraged his way up until his head came poking through the top of the pile. He looked around him …well what do you know? It IS straw ( I told you it was ) …yes. I know. and saw that he was surrounded by more piles of straw. There was no particular order to their placement. To the contrary, it was relatively chaotic, ( like you know what a field of straw is supposed to look like? ) …oh shut up Or so it seemed since there was a pile very close to the one he found himself in ( where are we again? ) ..I don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out. Just back off for a few minutes. while other piles were quite far apart. Continuing his look around, he saw, off in the distance, what looked like a small cottage. Seeing smoke coming from the chimney, he assumed that it was occupied ..shall we go take a look ( sure. Why not ) Brian very gingerly wrestled himself the rest of the way out of the pile, then slowly climbed down. Finding his feet on firm land, he started walking in the direction he thought the cottage lay in. …oh shut up" Perfect place to say, "I saw it on TV once." I haven't read that much yet, but I'm liken this! |

Her mind goes back
to times of old. When life seemed black and white. There was the good There was the evil. So gear up and, Pick a side. Her thoughts Roll forward To times of now, Heavily laden with deja vu. Break out the armor Dust off the leathers Throw back your head and let the tremolo trill. It's time again, The stars are out That bright shiny one's Calling to you. |
