Yes, someone understands
relates in a moment
shares a connection
And that someone
doesn't have to feel
what has brought you to
this place and time
the load doesn't have to be carried.
There are many of us
fitting into a space
where a picture is
the face.
Hoping that someone will
take off where you were left behind,
be that familial embrace,
as though you never left.
Someone's to hold you, to love you,
that one, I am, you are, and want you to see
just that someone you will have,
to hold and just..
someone.
