I think the guys from MintCast would agree with you. Windows tried to make their own version of Linux so turn about is fair play. I am running Lubuntu 13.04 with Gnome 3.8 and as you probably know Lubuntu comes with LXDE. It is amazing how Gnome Fallback under Gnome 3.6 is having problems but Gnome Classic under Gnome 3.8 works great. So I am running a Beta 2 OS with a Beta 2 desktop with a mainline Kernel 3.8.6 and it all still works.

Rural, definitely. Six miles to a small town from here. After a while you learn how to dodge the pot holes. No city ordinances to contend with. Nature right out your back door. Natural wildlife is wonderful. Nothing like well water without the impurities of civilization. Taxes are less and if they would fix the road that would mean more traffic.

Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, and a champion of free and open source software has finally call it a day and has agreed to join Microsoft as the project head of the upcoming Windows 9 project. According to Bloomberg, Linus will be working on a new Kernel design for Microsoft that will make, usually vulnerable, Windows OS virtually impossible to be infected by viruses and malware.
