age is irrelevant because personality is limitless
and soul is eternal I'm sorry, but this existantial logic may be good for some philosophers, may be, but not when it comes to satisfying the urge -- when performance is of the paramount importance! That's why I said any guy younger than 60 is definitely worth pursuing. Any older ones become a bit too selfish, I think. |

FOR GOD'S SAKE, msharmony, don't start the whole discussion all over again!!! Be a devoted believer, and let them strike the other cheeck (as Jesus taught)!!!

And yet, some people tend to think differently:
1. "Coincidence is God's way of remaining annonimous." (Einstein) 2. The problem of synchronicity has puzzled me for a long time, ever since the middle twenties, when I was investigating the phenomena of the collective unconscious and kept on coming across connections which I simply could not explain as chance groupings or "runs." What I found were "coincidences" which were connected so meaningfully that their "chance" concurrence would represent a degree of improbability that would have to be expressed by an astronomical figure. * * * (Carl Jung) 3. All mystical experience is coincidence; and vice versa, of course. (Tom Stoppard) 4. The more frequently one uses the word "coincidence" to explain bizarre happenings, the more obvious it becomes that one is not seeking, but evading the real explanation. (Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson) |

so I guess it will remain left up to faith --EXACTLY! And nobody has the right of trying to convince the other of being wrong! From that stand-point, this particular topig makes no sense whatsoever!!! Instead of bringing us together, it only divides us into different camps (like a wedge!)
Such personal topigs are better left for the discussions with significant others!!! |

Humans are one of the few creatures on this planet without a "set" or annual breeding season.
Are you kidding, Andy??? Evry evening, especially after the dinner (not to mention the weekends) I experience quite an earge -- must be my Daily breeding season!!! |

You don't judge assuming as Jesus told us not to.
Yet another contradiction the Bible is full of! Seems like numerous people, who composed the Book nearly 1400 years ago -- 600 years after the fact -- hasn't bothered to read whatever the previous authors have written!!! But that doesn't really matter. The church has addopted the text as the main doctrine which ought to be beyond any verification! Those who dare questionning the rationality behind the text are presumed to question "the very word of God"! (again, written in 640 AD, and then very carefully mannually copied for another 1000 years -- until the invention of the printing press -- by various "thorough" people who, no doubt, have never made any omittions, deletions, personal additions and editions, etc. etc. etc.). Besides, people are willingly giving donations to the church. Then HOW CAN ANYBODY REFUSE SUCH A MARVELOUS HOLLY CASH COW? ? ? Actually, I see nothing wrong in people's studying the way of life of our ancestors! After all, religion is no longer a part of any of the world's governments! As long as it doesn't teach people to revolt agaist the govrnment, WHO CARES? ? ? |

I usually settle for Mr. Goodbar-Right-Now!!! (rather than just the latter) After all, nobody's perfect. Holding out for the former one, a gal might end up "an old Virgine!!!

It can be hard to comprehend something that is not clear and concise, maybe you should have said that in the OP. Once again, except of you, honey, nobody's complained about the style of my disclosure. (And there are a few of the respondents whose intellectual level supercedes your's and mine put together!!!) I am not your sweetheart, I consider that a terrible thing to say to someone you do not even know.
I agree with you adsolutely!!! Except I never called you that! Why would I? Just try to please make it more concise to get at your meaning.
Sorry to disappoint you, but if you don't comprehend something, its much wiser requesting clarifications, rather than accusing the OP of being a fool! The end, definitely wont be back to anything u post in.
Collectively is not even a possibility since it does not seem anyone can agree on anything anyways, so how could anything become collective?
You must have missed the subsequent discussion, where I clearly state: I'm referring to a multitude of people, (a greate mass of people), united with the common goal, will, or desperation, which amplifies the crowd's total power (and, therefore, the resolve)!

Look, honey, for an intelligent person, you sure don't make much sense:
1. Until you mentioned it, nobody's complained about any "INCOMPLETE sentences" in my OP! 2. For an educated person, you sure lack the reading comprehension: the only reason I mentioned the foolish fears of 2012 was becasuse I said if enough people believe it, that might (and probably will) invoke some tragic events!!! (as if justifying those rumours)
3. I didn't suggest you visit the poor countries! I said to live for a while in a poor country -- and not stay at the 5-stars hotel, but circulate among the country's residents!
4. You must be confusing me with Everybody else, who call you "sweetheart", because I never did!!! (unless you can quote me!) 5. I don't advertise my credentials because, contrary to you, I don't have to resort to the internet for the purpose of looking for a partner! For the same reason, I don't list all of my accomplishments and education which I have more than you do!!! I'm here strictly for the philosophycal discussion!!! And you can tell that just by examining a few of the topigs that I have already posted! P.S. As I mentioned previously, -5 points, though you earn 0.01 points for agreeing with me in the 3rd paragraph of your OP! I'd recommend you widen the scope of your interests and do some research before, as you said, "mumbling things that make no sense"!!! |

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Your quirky wisdom and sarcastic sense of humour make my time spent in this particular (worthless) thread quite worthwhile!!! BRAVO! |

'til death do us part' becomes a much shorter commitment,,,,, is an interesting angle of looking at the advantage of the older man, even though it smells like only a thing of convenience! LOL

If I repent just before passing away, he'd have no choice but accept me into heaven anyway!!! So what's the use of depriving myself of the earthly pleasures??? ahh,, because repentance has to be sincere, and obviously a pre meditated repentance would not be,,, An old and incapable/incapacitated person -- with nothing to hope for -- is, usually, very sincere!!! |
