I guess I'd invest all the money in cryo-preservation and put myself to cryo sleep until a cure is found. I think you have to be pronounced clinically dead before they allow that. Check out http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20140821-i-will-be-frozen-when-i-die Well the decease is weird to begin with so I don't see why cryo sleep would be that unimaginable. |

As my father once said, life is like a painting of a landscape.
It goes up and down hills and through water streams. Things aren't always going to be easy, but when you have someone you split the burdens. Difficult times become easier and good times become better, because you're both working in unison. So in a way there is only one leadership and that can only be achieved together. That's at least the kind of relationship I want. |

Explain to me again, how having facial hair is somehow the same as plastic surgery, picking out clothes(which I'd say I also use a fair amount of time on) or having breast implants.

I love God with all my heart...but I just have faith...can't call myself a Christian...all I ever see them do is talk how great they are and feel they are gifted with the ability to judge others...if they really believed you would think they would know that judgement is Gods...and I think a lot of " Christians " are going to be surprised at what God thinks of them..it's not the bad people that are going to be upset in the end...it's the "good" people that will be...those of us that are suffering and considered bad by other "good" humans are not going to be surprised if God slams the door in our face...happens all the time by the Christians on earth...it's the "good" people that are in for a rude awakening...  
 ...guess if Christianity isn't a bunch of nonsense we are in for it...
If god is anything like the bible describes him, I think I'd rather be "in for it" than not. Especially if it's the old testament god. |

Warriorlord48, The fact that see choosing your religion as the difference between going to heaven or hell, thus securing your afterlife whilst watching everyone else who didn't make the right choice go to hell, is a pretty horrible thought.

What comes to mind when you see big letters in a court that says "In god we trust" or when people swear by the bible like they do in tv-shows.
You have to obey and keep obeying this great hypothetical camera in the sky and let it control you. Doesn't that make you wonder if you're really into this because you're afraid of what might happen if you don't openly announce your conviction or do you really think it to be true? Do you really think we matter that much? |

A cure for cancer..

As far as I understand you can't exactly cure cancer as a whole because every cancer is different for each person.
Not to mention that there are a lot of different types of cancer. I just hope that they will find a better alternative than chemotherapy. |
