I feel like I'm able to give a relationship as much (or as restrained) an effort as I need to. But people don't seem interested in the guy who's hurting, and when there's million of other guys out there, why would they want the trouble?

I don't want to make this into a big woe-is-me session, but I think my big problem is that all I want in my life right now is someone to love, spoil and nurture and who wants to do the same. Someone who wants life to be fun. Partly because my friends and family haven't been the support system I need, but also because that's what I've wanted this whole time.

I don't know if you know this, but I guess courting is much more formal in the Philipines. There's a real process to it.

Anyways, I'm trying to court this girl and things are getting a bit rocky and I'm trying to think of something I can do or a gift I can give her, something significant in the Filipino courting culture.
