What Carries Us Life has carried each one of us through all the minutes of each day; through the days of our years. Tears run down even stronger today like rivers flow down moutains; they flood into our praying hands. Dance we do- our bodies are torn; muscles are stretched and we stay in tune- while our limbs are bruised and broken. Spoken are the words that stabs our hearts... whispers are the words of forgiveness; singing are songs when our voice makes sense. Audience is there in our own heads; the people stand and clap with approval. The emotion we feel God only knows. Marcas B. Sterling June 7, 2005 | |
