The old saying is so true that "Behind every successful man is a good woman". To which Groucho Marks liked to add "and behind her was his wife" LOL. But all kidding aside, why is it true for successful men but not true that good men are behind a successful woman. What do you men say for yourselves and where do you women find motivation, determination and the dedication it takes to be successful

Business started back up this weekend and just giving you all a heads up on how things went. Saturday started out not so great, as my cupcakes did not stay put in the so called cupcake carrier and when I got to the market they were all over the place. So I manage to salvage 12 for display and only sold 2, but, I did sell out on cinnamon rolls (woo hoo) but only sold 6 of the 21 dozen cookies. Oh well, at least I didn't have to bake more for Today's Market and sold all but 4 dozen which is awesome. So it went ok, but could have been better, and it all ended up awesome with a few lessons learned. When the bake days are actually bake days, that is always a good thing. If anyone has missed me over the past week I've been buried in work but as I mentioned before you can always send me an email and I will get a notification. Ya know like, if ya wanted to meet me...............or if ya wanted to get better acquainted.............or if ya missed me..........btw...... did anyone miss me?

Just saying they are chip crack. Thanks for the suggestion but I'm kinda partial to the way Captain Ozzies does his cookies.

Took the missus down to the Lake District, in England, for the May bank holiday weekend and we've had a brilliant weekend. The icing on the cake though was my team Glasgow Celtic, winning the Scottish football (soccer) league title! Gonna be partying all summer now because of that, our 4th year in a row winning it! Driving back to Scotland, tomorrow night and back to work on Tuesday morning!
You just had to say "icing on the cake" didn't you..........

I had a great weekend! We cooked for a Ronald McDonald House benefit. This charity houses families who have children in the Texas Medical Center and could not otherwise afford to be near them. Awesome, great that you give of your time like that |

Ok, I'll be honest.......I've always said I don't dress to impress I dress to keep from offending so, no, a shirtless photo of me is not going to get me dates. I do however never wear hats to freely expose my brain, which I have and use for thinking vs. any other part of my anatomy. I spell it out in my profile and I make no bones about it, if your looking for sexy head to toe, well at least I got the head part. Under this rugged exterior though, there is a man. I know I get overlooked for the guys that have the looks but hey, if your only looking in the shallows that's what your going to find. Ya just don't know what your missin'.

Simply, not my nature. People who do stupid things, have criminal conviction records. That's a pretty wild assumption Really? If, by a 'certain' age, one is an abuser, it would be indicative, that they've been an abuser for a long long time. Somewhere in their history, will be records of reports against them, and possibly arrest records, even if there were no convictions for abuse . I've been a hearing aid boy since 3rd grade, had my more than my share of fights............not one blotch on my record, unfortunately I had to learn how to fight that's why I self trained myself in jujitsu |
