 I'm sorry for your mom...but if she is anything like my grandmother...there is no need to say sory for anyone. My grandmother has seen her great grandchildren grow and has watched her kids and grandkids grow. If she dies...no matter how much we will miss her...she is happy. even with pain she hasn't lost faith that God has a plan for everything it's her faith that helps me with mine. I can't read peoples minds and I certainly can't read God's. I can't say why things happen... for those suffering...maybe he wants us to learn to help one another...learn compassion for our fellow man. I can't say why for sure but I can't and won't loose my faith. |

my dad was a navigator in the AF. My mom prayed EVERY night before his death for God to bring him home safely. while on duty his plane crashed nto a mountain and he died. I hated my dad for leaving us and hated God for taking him. I came to realize about 5 years ago that holding onto that caused alot of problems for me. as much as I miss my dad, I think I wouldn't be who I am today if he was still here. I think it made me stronger. |

My grandmother has seen her great grandchildren grow and has watched her kids and grandkids grow. If my mother had been blessed with all of that maybe I wouldn’t feel that her life was so cheated. That’s a big part about what I wasn’t able to offer her that I had wanted to. They say that the best things in life are free. But they fail to mention that they aren’t always in stock.  |

I think it is good to express feelings and let out alot of frustrations and anger to understand oneself. We are human we need to do this sometimes. I have absolutely no anger associated with my mother’s life or passing. My feelings are more along the lines of sorrow and disappointment that things couldn’t have been better for her. It’s a totally different feeling than anger. Also, what I keep apologizing for is the state of nature. I don’t attribute that state to any deity. I’m just sorry that life is so fcked up. I’m sorry that people are so fcked up. No need to be angry about it. I’m just sorry that life isn’t better for those who deserve it. And my mother most certainly deserved it. There can be no doubt about that. |

Dear Abra,
I feel like this many times in the days when I worked for the Red Cross travelling to countries who are really less fortunate. I also felt like this now as I rarely know my parents having fortunately found one of them a few years ago. Perhaps one way to resolve this problem is to be ignorant and really see only good things. It sounds silly or ridiculous, but I realized those who don't worry about politics, religion, suffering, and so forth really go full speed in life. I know a few atheists who are like this. Well I definetly don't have the solutions that is for sure! |

when a child is abducted,raped and killed when so many bad things happen to really good people and yet child molesters and rapest and murderers go on doing what they do where is this so called great and loving god we are on our own here people and if there really is some kind of god out there letting these things happen i'll be damned if i will worship him or even want to be with him when i pass on Who are you? Who have you wronged? Ok I'll get to my point: Most of what you said people do to people. Lets try the weather aspect. A tornado comes in, crushes a house and the family is penned under and suffers before they die. That would be a better example! But why would God change what he set in motion? What fun would it be if we had no pain? With no pain, how would we know joy and happiness? Now you can ask "well what was the point of them dying?" Cause of nature. And did the people decide to live there, in a place that they knew had tornadoes? |

We could ask why Santa Clause is so mean to kids and only gives them coal when we know it is bad for kids. You would not say we were angry in saying that. You would not say we are blaming Santa. You would think that we just lost it. This is the point of view we have to argue from daily. |

God is with those who welcome him into their life. God cannot intervene where he has not been invited. that is the fruit of free will. He will not force you to believe. He will not force you to include him in your plans. |

Nonbelievers aren't mad at him because
1. they may not believe he exists and don't understand what he's doing and 2. are too busy being fooled by him When you understand what he does and the consequences of it (our physical and spiritual death), then you can be motivated to seek the Lord's salvation and you're motivated to walk with him (which is part of that salvation: repentance). And the rest kind of follows from that. My prayer is that everyone here understands how dangerous and how destructive Satan is and that they take action to step away from evil and toward the Lord.
