My prayer is that everyone here understands how dangerous and how destructive Satan is and that they take action to step away from evil and toward the Lord.

why do believers blame all evil on Satan and not God ..Satan only exist but for the grace of God ...since God is all-knowing and knew exactly what Satan would do once he created him then God created Satan to do that what Satan does best which is to follow God's divine plan

see i've spent along time struggling with that because a little over two years ago one of my best friends died in a car wreck and when i got the phone call i was at work and the song jesus take the wheel was on and it pretty much destroyed me but through basically two years of fighting and struggling with if i've come to terms with alot...

for starters free will... second i sometimes feel people are here to accomplish some things and once they've done it they are free to move on

if you believe in "God's Divine Plan" then you have to think that you friend was taken for a reason ..also God has the Laws of physics in place turning all the right gears into place just like the inner working of a clock to script out everything for his divine plan and probably don't need Jesus or Satan to fine tune it

Well, yes and no Funches. I believe God has a plan and we're all actors in it. He uses good and uses bad to accomplish the plan and weaves it all together. Our choice is which way we're going to go and he can help us or not as we chose until the moment we pass away.

God can take us or not, as he wills, but if we're still around, we still have the choice to chose him or not. Which would you do?

I do now believe he was takin for a reason but at that time i just didn't want to beleive that a "loving god" could have time be up on an 17 year old high school senior who had 4 years of collegiate football ahead of him and who knows what after that. but over time i've come to grips with it..and i know that my boy is like a guardian angel...

"yashafox" an actor has no choice but to follow the script or get fired ...if you want to make a choice to go left it is because the script was written so you have no choice but to go left ..God's Divine Plan already knows every move you will make because it was scriped to force you to make those moves...for you to believe you have any control over that plan would mean there is no plan just random acts

I think its funny that you don't believe as we do, yet you try to explain to us our own beliefs.

Fore knowledge and control are two different things. Lets say I knew you were going to the store tomorrow. When tomorrow comes and you go to the store, did I make you do that? According to your logic I did. He may know the decisions you will make, but he doesn't make you chose one over the other.

Who is to say he actually knows the decision. What if he knows the out come of every possible decision and waits to see which you actually chose. Who really knows.

that's how you have to look at it...what would you try to say to him if the roles was reverse and you were the angel ..

why did you have to go to the store? ...God created you to "want" and "need" and with that God can use the laws of physics to plan control and force you to do anything according to his Divine plan ..give me any senerio and I could explain how you were force to do it

Who is to say he actually knows the decision. What if he knows the out come of every possible decision and waits to see which you actually chose. Who really knows.

then God is not all-knowing

for one, I was talking about fore knowledge of myself knowing you would go to the store. I like how you changed me into God to try to make you sound logical.

If someone shot themselves in the head they were not forced by any laws of physics to do so.

Maybe God is all knowing, maybe he isn't. I think that is irrelevant in the big picture. I like to keep an open mind about things and make my own decisions. Most catholics believe in traditional hell, I really don't.

I didn't say you was a Pantheist I ask why did you have to go to the store ..for what reason or do you just go to the store to go

that suicide could be the results from a chemical imbalance brought on by the forces of nature depleating certain energy reserves causing the brain to lack ..nature promotes self-preservation not self-annihilation

Every vile nasty things that happens to the human population is of satan not God. Why is it that when things go well in people's life they don't thank God....but as soon as anything bad happens they blame God. God is not the reason for our sin......we are, God is not the one that had the abused child grow up to also abuse. It kills me that people that don't trust their lives to the Lord are the same people blaming God for all that is bad with this planet...and their lives, Get a clue....God is not doing it....

You obviously have a deep need to take your idea of God seriously. We that do not believe in him, on the other hand, do not. We do not give him credit for anything good or bad. We just try to point out how incredibly ridicules his story is when you put even the slightest amount of logic to it.
We could ask why Santa Clause is so mean to kids and only gives them coal when we know it is bad for kids. You would not say we were angry in saying that. You would not say we are blaming Santa. You would think that we just lost it.
This is the point of view we have to argue from daily.

Why do u try to point out how ridicule his story is. If you do not believe in him. That is a good thing. Why do you become a judgmental person? Who did give you the right to point out something that you should not even care? If you do not believe in God why do you care for those who believe in HIM
This is the only point I can't understand about non believers. Somebody explain, what is the point of pointing the ridicule of something in which i don't even believe?
For me is just a waste of time. If I don't believe I should not care.

If only my ignoring Christianity would make it go away then I would never say another word about it. However it is a force that pushes itself onto people. It is a bully of a religion that will not just sit quietly in a corner. Christianity has reigned down many blows upon me. I am only defending myself and pointing out the absurd nature of this bully and it's tactics.

Re-read what you wrote and take note of where the other three fingers are pointing. What I see coming from you is hate and if that is what you are preaching I am sure that you will find many to fill your pews but I want to get along with my fellow man and that desire is not contingent upon his/her beliefs. I don't need to be your friend for you to be mine. I hope you have a good day. Off to work!happy

There was never any reference to God, Jesus, nor the Bible as being Myths....so therefore that is nonsense....As for parents of now older adult people thinking they should feel sorry for their parents beliefs is pretty sad indeed....if your mother or father, or sister or brother wants to believe in God, Christ and that heaven is waiting for them....who are you or anyone now to say that there thinking was wrong. I know for my mother, grandmother and that whole side of the family....If I put down their beliefs they would be crying in heaven right now....You nor I nor anyone else has the right to think anything other then they lived their lives the way they chose to.

Just as now with anyone on this planet....The way they choose to believe or live their life is strictly their choice. And if you are hurt but this....well I would have to say it's your problem not theirs.

And again I don't believe what I believe because I was brought up that way. I was not...I made the choice and when I let Christ into my heart.....my life changed....he showed me things that I no longer could or would ignore He WAS, IS, and ALWAYS WILL BE. I see through His Grace on a daily basis miracles and the way he touches lives....

You're right. God doesn't intervene, unless he's invited.

Bad things are happening because of sin in the world. That was what the fall was all about. You can accept the Lord and stop the corruption within your own life. It won't mean that bad things won't happen to you, but it will mean you have the Lord's help and you have the Lord in your life when bad things happen.

Prayer is important. When you see bad things on the news, pray for those people. Pray for those nations.

We might not be there, but we can pray about things.

I pray that God will touch everyone on JSH. I pray that he will bless everyone experiencing misfortune here and that he will bring those who don't know him to a saving knowledge of his grace and mercy.

May God Bless us All.

I think I heard that on Star Trec. They called it the "non intervention clause"

But I do believe this is true. We are on our own in the infinite body of God but ~~ if you ask for help, and someone hears you, they may very well come to your rescue as the Universe of God works through each individual. It may not be God himself ... as some view God .. but someone .. something .. will begin to work to help you .. if you ask with faith and love.

However if you don't ask at all, no one will hear you. If you just sit around whining and saying woe is me... no one will come.

Hey Lex...

How are ya?

It has always fascinated me how so many believers claim that a non-believer is mad at something that they do not even believe exists...

If I had a dollar for every time...laugh

Amazing reflections, perhaps...

glasses

Yeh, its like a little kid who gets angry and screams."I am so mad at you God, I'm not gonna believe in you anymore. You are dead to me!"

Now if you never believed in this God in the first place, you might think, gee, we need to do something about all this crime in the world. Take some responsibility and help solve the problem instead of blaming God... .. oh that's right.. you don't believe in him or her anymore... sorry.

Dear Abra,

I feel like this many times in the days when I worked for the Red Cross travelling to countries who are really less fortunate. I also felt like this now as I rarely know my parents having fortunately found one of them a few years ago.

Perhaps one way to resolve this problem is to be ignorant and really see only good things. It sounds silly or ridiculous, but I realized those who don't worry about politics, religion, suffering, and so forth really go full speed in life. I know a few atheists who are like this.

Well I definetly don't have the solutions that is for sure!

The life you end up attracting, the experiences you end up having are all the result of what you place your attention on the most.

If you keep your attention on the bad things, the poverty, the cruelty, and think about all the negative manifestations of others, these are the kind of thoughts you imprint into the Formless substance that manifests them, and you only perpetuate those things and give them more substance in the world.

Therefore you want to use your Will to direct your attention to the things that you want and away from the things that you do not want, and picture these things. This will cause these things to begin to manifest in your experience. This is the Law of Attraction.

We live in a thought universe and the thoughts we dwell upon are manifested for us into this reality. This reality is made up of reflected light and is holographic in nature. It is like a giant holodeck. The three dimensional universe is holographic in nature. Quantum physics supports this idea.

Again you only see it as hate because you hold your myth of God so close to your heart. I do not believe in this myth at all. It isn't true. I get as worked up saying that as I do telling you that the easter bunny isn't true.
The problem comes in, however when the Christians try and force their beliefs on others. Things like making schools teach voodoo science like the myth of creationism. So the people out here like me that would rather do anything else except talk about the Bully Christianity, have to talk about it. There are people getting elected to school Boards right now that do it because they think they are doing Jesus's work. That means people cannot just ignore them and let them have free reign.
I have a much more happy and peaceful life now that I am out from under the sin of the fruit eater. I have no problem with anyone that wants to quietly practice their religion in a personal way with their God.

Ah... if it were only that simple. ( Hey The devil made me say that!)laugh

To a pantheist, God is doing it, because everyone is "God."

Does that mean that "God" is evil?

No.

The term "evil" and the term "sin" are only defined within religious doctrine. (They have no meaning to a pantheist.)

(Religious doctrine is created by man, society, or who ever.)

So blame the bad things on the bad people, not some vaguely defined personality. (called Satan or God.)

You can't arrest them for the crime. They are not responsible for the "bad" things people do.

People need to be responsible for the reality that they have manifested. No, they would rather blame it on God or the Devil.

They need to grow up.

JB
