Commitment? Doesn't anyone believe there is that "one" person out there that they can spend the rest of there lives with? I don't know, I'm going through a divorce myself because he couldn't commit, and with all the topics tonight I thought this should be brought up.

Actually, with the population out there. I believe that there are more than just that ONE person. That we have a few out there that would be compatible for lifelong commitments. That's why I wonder why they are so dang hard to find.

i don't think the other threads were meant to say anything about commitment unless the person is cheating cheating shows no respect to others. everyone has there own views on their relationships but doesn't make them less comitted or in love.

some people just dont know how! It's not that they don't know "how" it's that they chose not too! my aren't we judgemental. Perhaps I should have stayed with my husband and let him continue to knock me around. I probably would not be here now, but I would have remained committed.
