Well, I used to live in the area you live in. I can see where you'd frighten the good ol' York Pa boys... laugh

these rednecks? pffft. I live all my life in the tri-state area, 18 years of them in Jersey.

I feel that woman who stay home and raise there family should be given a great deal more credit than what is given..... it should be an honor to raise your kids and take care of the home.... not be made to feel as SUBSERVIENT...

I don't see it as a form of slavery at all....
You are right. It is so important to give all woman credit for raising their children. Especially the good ones. The ones that put the children first. Not the ones throwing them off overpasses.

what about women who have to raise their children alone because the husband leaves and does not want to pay child support?

Any hurrahs for us, Brian?

Yes and those women too... but so often in this society stay home moms are looked upon a second class citizens... when I would say it has to be on of the hardest and most rewarding jobs offered...

I think it would be easier to raise kids with someone helping financially.

Raising them alone, is, I think, a tad more difficult.

Brian did you not say that you lost your family because you were a drunk? And you blame this on the woman?

Why is it the woman's responsiblity to keep the family together? Men should contribute as well.
Never been a drunk, or a druggie. Just crazy. cant you tell

You posted a "what was your darkest day" thread and you said yours was coming home drunk and finding that your family had left you.

Was that a lie then, or is this a lie now?
Just about everything i write is for a reaction. Ive said that before.

I would rather work 3 jobs, before i stay home. I would do anything for my wife to stay home. She would have the most important job, no matter how many jobs i worked

I am a single mom of 2... I have done it both ways... and for me... I tend to think it is easier raising them by myself... I do work... and provide for them financially without any childsupport...

why is it easier to support them yourself than to have someone else paying the bills? Just curious.

Well financially it would be easier to raise them if I didn't have to work.... but from my experience... it has been easier to balance the household in all aspects have it being just me and the kids...

funny - I found it easier when I had a husband to help me around the house and to share expenses with...also another driver in the house as well.

But I guess some men are more difficult to live with. Mine was a neanderthal in some ways; enlightened in others. He would cook and grocery shop, run the vaccuum once in a while, etc.

Pick her up at daycare, whatever. it was nice.
