if people had called him a cripple and made a joke about how awesome it is to walk and how he cant or whatever, THAT wouldve been rude. calling him on a self-indlugent, pity thread is not. it was the truth. theres a distinct difference. and ever if you opinion was that he wasnt being self-indulgent or hypocritical, thats irrelavent. everyone is entitled to their opinion and response as long as its not personally damaging. just because someone says something you dont like to hear, doesnt make it rude. the truth should never ever be squelched so that the overly sensitive wont have to look at meanie words.

I dont want to get off topic here SO maybe I will go start a thread to save jist from the mill, vault, wherever it was There is a topic? This thread is gonna be short lived if we don't change the subject. How much can we talk about the last known real hippie and his groupie? P.S.... Jim, they let me out of the vault in the mill... I'm home safe, no.. not in a safe at home.. I'm... Let's just leave it at...I am where I should be. yep that's me groupie,you have no clue buddie,try a little kindess it goes alond way.And I'll do this again in a heartbeat if I see people doing it.

im a bit offended by this blanket statement myself. i have just as much right to come on here and respond to the stupidity as stupidly as i feel as the person who wrote the stupid stuff. i responded to his thread, one of the first ones to do so and i spoke some very nice words to him. on the other hand if we are supposed to powder the asses of the newbies then start a thread asking them to not come in here and immediately start offending others or slamming them!!! lilith made a good point, it wasnt a "hello" thread, he was COMPLAINING!! hello?!?!?! he has a mind of his own, he can voice his own opinions...he had no trouble doing so when he started the thread. everyone has a different personality and i think a large part of the time what you may take as being a smart ass is merely their way of communication. im not going to sugar coat a damn thing...i say what i think. i think everyone has that right. if they chose to be rude, i dont have to agree with them, but i also dont have the right to come on here, start a thread and make blank accusations. i guess its a two way street when you say if you cant say something nice, say nothing at all...well if someone doesnt like my response, skip it, ignor it, do what you will with it but when you live in a glass house, dont throw stones!!! i doubt you can walk on water. get off your cross, someone else could use the wood. JMO

It's cold here.. I wish I had a fireplace to start a fire [with Madamx's wood reference....] In a word? It's all ENTERTAINMENT. Friends are built in here by watching and learning... there are people we stay away from, like, enjoy, befriend, whatever. I love lemonade, personally. Tart and sweet.
