Truth. A guy telling me what he thought I wanted to hear rather than the truth lead to over a year of suffering on both sides. He should have just told the truth, plain and simple.

Only if I asked for agreement! I would most definately want feedback, worded in a supportive way ... or bluntly, if I was being stupid. I'd know it was said with the right spirit, if it came from someone who knew and loved me.

I will take the truth myself anyday. If I ask you a question, I am prepared for whatever way the answer goes.

a person to tell you what you wanted to hear, even if it wasn't the truth? It's all about honesty.. As some here know me (personally), I'm as brutal as they come.. I will tell you nothing but the truth (even if it hurts).. it would only cause more pain to lie, then cover it up with another lie, etc. Or for someone else to tell the trust about an ordeal and then have to deal with be confronted (yet to have a "lie" in plan).
